We leave on Fri for our first trip to Universal. I have a couple more questions for everyone.

  1. Spidey and Capt America sign autographs?
  2. For anyone who has printed out the print at home tickets, which bar code is the one they scan (there is one that's horizontal and one that's vertical)? I want to fold them up to put them in the lanyards but don't want to fold the bar code.
  3. Do they sell half gallons of milk anywhere at RPR?
  4. How painful is the Barney show? My 4 year old wants to see it. He gets to watch Barney at his grandparents so he's familiar.
  5. How scary is Transformers?
  6. Does the show at Ollivanders occur during EE or do we have to wait until park open for that?

My question is really will they sign autographs. We happened to spot a combined Spider-Man, Capt America shirt so I bought it and a fabric marker for both of them to sign it. Then I remembered that not all Disney M&G characters will sign autographs. If that's the case here I need to tell him beforehand and leave the shirt home.

Either bar code showing on the ticket is fine. They are both the same if I recall correctly

Re: transformers.

IMO it's just like Michael Bay's movies; there's so much going on at once, so fast , that you don't even have the chance to get scared by anything :P

I can't answer all of your questions but here's what I do know from visiting last week.

1. We saw Spidey, Cap, Rogue, Storm and 2 other female heroes (I'm drawing a blank which they were) all doing photos and autographs. But its a time of day / day of the week thing, but you should be able to find out the day you're there who is there and what times.

4. The Barney show is almost a half hour long. To me, it was... well I had to stop watching and listening to it, and instead I focused on how much enjoyment the kids got out of it.

5. Transformers: Not scary at all. If the kids have seen the movies, its no worse than that other than LOUD and a lot of shaking and moving.

6. Olivanders show does occur during EE and goes on throughout the day, also not scary :)

I hope that helps :)

Barney was awesome! I dragged my family (especially my teen son) to watch it. I never did see Barney live before and was thrilled to have the chance after hours upon hours upon hours of watching endless Barmey videos when my son was little. The best part was watching him squirm!!

Halfway through, my "cool" son forgot himself and was singing along and doing the actions too (My teen DD and I got fully into it). At least until he caught me capturing him on video ROFL!!!!

Loved it :) (90% of my enjoyment was because it was payback time!)
