So, we're finishing our basement and decorating with Disney theme park memorabilia. I bought this:

off eBay and we're having it recessed into the wall (it lights up like a marquee). It's from the 2008 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.

My husband and I were checking it out tonight and noticed something behind it. We peeled back the F&W poster, and there was another behind it for Cranium Command!

(Sorry for the bad picture -- I was kneeling and have no balance and my iPhone hates me.)

I don't even remember that attraction, but it looks like it ran from 1989 to 2007. I'm so stoked about my find! :woohoo: Now I have another piece to frame!

(Also have a piece of carpet from the Disney Imagination Institute Journey into Your Imagination and Honey I Shrunk the Audience attraction area. We're going to frame that.)

Who remembers Cranium Command? I've been there 8 times since 2005 and I guess I must have missed that. :confused3

I wish I could see what you are talking about. Both pictures have a red x.

GAH! I can't see the first picture now, but I see the second one!!

IIRC, Cranium Command was either in the Wonders of Life pavilion or The Land. It wasnt a ride per se but more of a game show/audience attraction.

Neat find though. You should be able to google it up for more info.

Looks like it was in the Wonders of Life pavilion. I remember a motion ride back there that made me really really regret eating at WDW, so I avoided the area like the plague. Maybe that's why I don't rememebr it...

I am thinking it was in the Wonders of Life. Was this the show that showed a teenage boy and his brain reactions to a normal day? Or am I getting it mixed up with something else?

I'm thinking no one wanted to know what goes on in a teenage boy's mind EVER. :scared1:

Yes, that was it. A very funny show actually.

By early 2005 it was operating seasonally. At some point they even took it off the map, so even if you were there at Christmas you might have missed it.

It was in the wonders of life pavillion it had Dana Carvey, John Lovitz and Bobcat Goldthwaite as different parts of the body, who were all communicating with the brain, which was trying to navigate a little boy through a regular day.

The motion ride was Body Wars... not Cranium Command.

Annnnnd, that was the one. Like Star Tours. Was Cranium Command in the same pavilion? Ever since that day, I pretty much skip that whole area other than Ellen's Energy Ride.

I remember my daughter wanted to go on Body Wars but she was a hair too little. The ride operator saw her disappointed look so she put me and her in an empty theater and turned off the spinning effects so it was just a theater in our own private room.

I think this was either 2000 or 2001. The attraction was just a walk on so we had our own private motionless showing.

You got it!! This was it and it was great!! George Wendt (Norm from CHEERS) was the voice of the stomach and I think the premise was a 12 year old boy on the edge of puberty.

Very cool! And a very neat Cranium Command find too. I used to really enjoy that attraction.

DH and I just kind of looked at each other! :confused3 I am vaguely remembering it now... I DO remember George Wendt's voice. So random!
