Good evening my fellow UK DIS'ers!

I have a couple of questions regarding drink at Disney or Orlando in general.

My first is about 'Jagerbombs'. Does anyone know the cost of one of these in Disney Hotels? City Walk? Or in Local bars? Just an estimated price would be great to know!!!

Also, what is the price of a cocktail at Disney? Ive bought bottles of beers before, but when we go to the Boardwalk what can we expect to be paying for cocktails? (Not that Im a cocktail drinker myself!!!)

Any other drink related information would be brilliant to know!

Hi not sure about the Jager prices I used to do Promo for them all over the place and working for them "I drank a little too many" so it put me off for a while:rotfl:

Now Cocktails yum yum :thumbsup2 They are priced around $10 for a magic star these have the glow cubes in them its the specaility drink at most TS I believe when we was at the bar in Pop & AKL that they were around the $7 mark for the more traditional and well known's I dont remember paying anymore then $12 and that was for a drink that came in a glass you keep at Planet Hollywood! ...(They did the best drinks)like a Terminator :cool1:

p.s the drinks have always tasted pretty strong to me too so i think you get pretty good measures :)

Cocktails are around the $8-10 mark - we usually end up spending $20 once you add in a tip for the 2 of us.

I will see if I can find a receipt later with exact prices on for Disney.

cocktails are around $8.50 and up and generally have a lot of alcohol:thumbsup2
which always surprises me.

There is a fab cocktail bar in TL, which we always manage to sit near!! Although after drinking 3 one year I struggled to get off my sun lounger and had to do 2 laps of the lazy river to sober up;)

The cocktails I have tried at WDW have always been gorgeous and one of my treats over there.

After reading one of the disney bogs:

I definately plan to try this bar at AK

Yup I'm a Martini/Cocktail kinda girl and depending on the brand of liquor I go for I end up paying $8 to $12

But given that I have to pay £10 for a Grey Goose Martini here in London bars and they're not even up to the top I'll settle for those Disney prices any day!

We rarely drink out but we did Drinks around the World last year, cost us over $80 for 2 of us, about 5 drinks each.
$80 would buy us 8L of Smirnoff Raspberry vodka at Walgreens Liquor store, enough to last us a year at home.:rotfl2:

I've also 'drank around the world', a costly business, I think, I can't really remember ;)

:goodvibes

Maybe this year I should pay cash and forget instead of paying on the KTTWC, waking up with a headache and counting the cost.:rotfl2:

:lmao: probably wise!
In all fairness I didn't buy a drink but I think my mates' bank balances suffered :)

I've got a feeling there'll be no drinking at all on my next trip ;)

:goodvibes

Try the Ale and Compass lounge in the Yacht Club - I had an elongated stay one trip where having tipped the barman well (do it and reap the rewards!) and enjoyed a couple of 'normal' mojito's before spotting the champagne mojito - upon asking for one I sat there boggle eyed as I watched him pour unbelievable measures of champagne into the glass - we pretty much polished off a bottle with our four drinks!

Can't remember the cost, in fact, all I can remember about that night was that it was a good one!

The trouble with cocktails is that the first one you order and pay for you think "Oh with a tip that's a little pricey" and then you taste it and think - man that's good.

The 2nd cocktail - you think "oh good - same price as last time" - then enjoy the delicious cocktail

The 3rd cocktail - "Bar tender you are a God - take this and keep the change!"

The 4th - "I love you bar tender - have a cocktail with me..."

Get the picture :rotfl2::lmao:

 sounds like my kinda night! Love champagne cocktails! We have an ADR at Yachtman Steakhouse on 4th July, might just treat myself before the meal in the Ale and Compass Lounge! :cool1:

Drank around the world? Is this going round each country in Epcot?

Yeah, that's it! I think we'll give this a bash on our next trip, that and eating around the World, too! This thread has just made me think of all those yummy cocktails that I'm missing

it's great, we did it at food and wine time so was even better :)

:goodvibes

I agree - I don't mind doing it when F&W isn't on but the measures are so much easier on me during the Food and Wine!
