Random Concierge question...

I am PONDERING possibly booking Concierge on the Dream 4-night over Presidents' Week next year just for the chilling out factor.

I know people have said they have successfully gotten non-standard sodas in the room, but would it be possible to request only diet Coke and water?

Thanks! I'm not 100% that I'll do it. But I'm pondering it. My favorite room (9000 - NOT concierge) is booked. But my first DCL room (12028 - concierge and not ridiculously priced at this point) is open.

That's our usual request. When we ran out, we just went to the lounge to get more. When the host noticed it, he would come and refill the room or ask if we needed more. Easy peasy request in their eyes.

Ok, 12028 is next to the public men's room ... I know this because it was the only room on the 12th floor when I booked my cruise. I was able to change and got a room I was happy with, but I'd never had made final payment if i were stuck in that room.

But, the answer to your other question is, no problem. Easy enough to trade them in yourself and get what you want freely from the lounge. Enjoy.

We don't drink soda so just request water. Sometimes the request goes through...if not we remove the soda.

Dude. Don't tell me that. I have a thing about collecting stuff, and getting to five dcl cruises = collecting a new status level. Even if I don't cherish the experience like many do, it's still a thing for me. And then I'd be even with royal again; gold on one and platinum on the other.
