66 Days until we are in WDW!!!!!
This is my first TR or I guess first PTR.
We are all so excited about this trip. It will be our first time to WDW ever!! We've planned trips a couple of times before but for numerous reasons we've had to cancel. We are now counting down to our first trip ever!!
It is quite overwhelming to plan this trip. So much information to consider. I've been reading the board like crazy to get some tips.
I'll introduce us....
Myself: Not only will it be my first trip but I will be turning 38 in WDW!!
I am a SAHM to 3 boys and have been married for almost 16 years. I've been to Disneyland but that was back in the 70's when I was around 5 or 6. The only thing I really remember about it is the Haunted Mansion. LOL
DH: Is a hard working outdoorsman. He loves all fishing, hunting and manly things. He will be turning 37 the day before we leave on our trip. He is excited about the vacation but is happy to let me do all the planning. I may have a special beach surprise for him on Wednesday of our trip.
Teen DS: He just turned 15 yesterday. He is so excited to finally be going to WDW. He is the oldest of my 3 boys and can be kind of bossy at times.
Preteen DS: He is 12 years old. If we are to have any drama it will be most likely from him.
He is a sweetheart though. He is estatic that he can order from the adult menu-----but I really think he still has a kids menu appetite.
The Baby DS: This little one keeps us running around and he is only 5!! When we get in the car he says lets go to WDW. He doesn't realize we have to drive 1200 miles to get there. He also asked me the other day how come we've never go to the beach.
Travel plans:
We do plan to drive the 1200 miles there. We aren't new to road trips though. Every couple of years we take a road trip to visit the inlaws. The WDW trip should be only around 2 hours longer.
Dates:
October 10 Leave home
October 18 Return home
