Ramada Plaza Resort 1000?? good or bad?

I was wondering if anyone has ever stayed here? This is the Ramada located at 3155 S. John Young Parkway (near Universal).

Last year, a friend arranged the trip. It was ok. The staff was pretty underwelming and didn't really go out of it's way for anyone. We didn't use the pool so i can't comment on that. There was a booth to buy tickets in the lobby, and that was nice and handy. Saved time at the gate with ticket buying. Didn't eat at the restaurant there.

As for the room. The first one we had was a bit shabby, but we complained and ended up with a much nicer one on a higher floor.

Plenty of parking for our rental car.

It's no resort, but livable.
