Ramada maingate or castle inn?

looking for opinions on these motels. We usually stay at hojos but it overpriced for our quick trip. Price is about the same for the room. Which would you pick and why?

If the prices are about the same, I'd go with the Ramada Maingate. It's been a couple of years since I stayed there though, before all the construction started. We've stayed at the Castle Inn and are booked there again in Oct. I prefer the location of the Ramada, especially at the end of a long day of walking. The rooms and amenities are about the same.

I would choose the Ramada, just for the shorter walk. Right now there is a construction going on at the Ramada. Some people have reported a difficult time finding parking, but otherwise it seems to be OK.

I'm booked at the Ramada for the end of September.
I like the proximity to the park entrance. Pretty close walking distance.
I booked into one of their new rooms (Superior room)
The construction is due to complete early fall...hopefully it will be done.

I've stayed at both and I agree, stick with Ramada. If for nothing else, the walk. Ramada also has breakfast, though it's not great, IMO.
