Does anybody know anything about the Ramada Eastgate? We won it on Priceline for $20 per night. We are unfortunately on a limited budget this year, but still going. (Hee Hee!)

Just wondering. Thanks for your input in advance.

I won this hotel for our arrival night off priceline for $25...I've been wondering the same thing but since I will only be there from midnight to 8Am I am not TOO worried. Just don't drop me in the ghetto of Orlando.:(

We stayed there for the "non-WDW" part of our trip last December. We also won it on Priceline and we thought it was just fine. The rooms were big and clean. It wasn't brand new, but it was in good shape. It is also a great location, really close to lots of attractions and restaurants. It is also very easy access to WDW. We really enjoyed being in that part of town because there were tons of things to do, places to eat, neat shops, etc. It's very near Olde Towne, the outlet malls, lots of mini golf, and most importantly - the Krispy Kreme place! We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we got a good deal.

The only down side was that the elevator was PAINFULLY slow and we were on a really high floor.

My son stayed there with his high school band in May. (Hopefully there won't be any of those there in Sept.) His evaluation was, "From a distnce in looks like a four star, up close it looks like a three star, and inside it looks like a two star." He has stayed at most of the Disney resorts with us and said it was fine. He did also mention the slow elevators. He said one time a group of them was waiting for the elevator and he and some of the guys decided to walk down while the girls from the dance team waited for the elevator. The didn't hurry and still had time to get to the lobby and sit down and wait for the elevator to get there.
They insisted the bus stop at Krispy Kreme on the last day since part of their trip was financed by selling Krispy Kreme as we don't have any around here!
We drove out to check the place out on our last trip and it looked well worth $20 a night:D
