Even though it's only January, I know there's people out there other than me who are already planning their Disneyland trip! Who's going to be there in June? And if you're going, where are you staying? What dates are you going to be there?

And how are you going to get through the next 6 months of waiting? LOL!

AP Blockout Dates
In June on days SoCal Local AP Holders are blocked have mostly better crowds than when not blocked. In June on days SoCal Local AP Holders are not blocked crowds can be much worse.

About half a million SoCal Select AP holders will be blockout out on the dates below. This is a good thing that will reduce overall crowds.
June 1-3 and 6-30
About two hundred thousand SoCal AP Holders will be blocked out on the dates below. In combination with the SoCal Select this means a large segment of locals are not going to be in the parks. This is a good thing.
June 2, 6-9, 13-16, 20-23, and 29-30.

About one hundred thousand Delux AP Holders will be blocked on the dates below. When Delux AP Holders are blocked it helps little because these days are very busy to begin with. This is a bad thing.
Each Saturday of June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.


Grad Nites
May 30, and 31. June 1, 6,7,8, 12,13,14, 19, 21, and 22
Grad nights will mean extra crowds, particularily when school is over and almost over. Grads will arrive anytime during the day and have park hoppers to use. At 11pm they will have a private party in Disneyland Park. DL closes to regular guest at 11pm few other details are specifically known.

Weather
June is known for one thing in particular the gray, overcast mornings, the June Gloom. Though the fog usually burns off by late morning.

Temperatures: In June it get a little warmer as the month goes on. Normal highs are in the lower 80s, about 28C. Normal lows in the lower 60s about 17C. You may want a sweatshirt for the mornings.

Rain: Is unlikely and rare in June.

Temperature extremes are possible in case of cold, hot or wet before your trip check ~this link~ and refresh it, it is for a seven day weather forcast for the Esplandade location, bewteen the parks' gates.

Official Park Operational Hours
DL 1st through 5th, 9th through 12th, 15th through 18th, and 23rd on, 8am to 12am. 6th-8th, 13th-14th and 19th-22ndare Grad Nites and the park is closing at 11pm

DCA 1st through 12th, 10am to 10pm, the 13th 10am to 9pm. The 14th closed. DCA grand reopens on the 15th 10am to 11pm
DCA from the 16 on starts its 8am to 11pm summer schedule.


Anticipated Park Operational Hours
Because of changes in operations this is not known fact and historical hours are a weak predictor.

DL will probably be 8am to 12am. Keep in mind on Grad Nite days listed above DL will be closing between at 11pm. DCA will have 8am to 11pm hours after the 15th On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays DL has Magic Mornings. A Magic Morning is when resort hotel guest can enter one hour early during thier stay. Also guest with a three day or longer park hopper may enter once during thier visit. The Magic Morning schedule may be effected by DCA operations.

DCA may start out 10am to 10pm hours the first couple weeks. It will be closed on the 14th. Starting on the 16th its hours may expand to 8am openings and 11pm closes.

While DCA normally has an official opening time of 10am, resort guests have been let into park of the park at 9am or 9:15am, and general guests though the normal gates at 9:30am. Starting on the 15th this may change in a number of ways as hours expand. Also limited evidence exists that it may have Magic Mornings like DL.

It wasn't insane the whole month. Just a few days, and it wasn't park wide insanity. Little Mermaid calmed down within a week of it's official opening, at least it was able to handle the crowds with it's huge capacity. Star Tours, was the bigger problem. It had huge lines for most of the summer.

This summer, Carsland could be far worse, but when exactly it opens is not known.

I'm still working out the plans. Nothing yet booked but I plan on being there May 31-June 5 possibly PPH.
May 29-31 would be USH, Hilton. With 1 day at USH (May 30th) and the 31st going to Hollywood Blvd.
I'm totally clueless since I haven't been in 5 years I feel so overwhelmed!

We (my DW) are doing an Adventures by Disney - Backstage Magic in June, the Disneyland and CA days are June 13 & 14.

The tour stages at the Grand Californian resort, so we are very excited to be going!

Fingers crossed for Cars Land, although not sure if I want it open or not!

June 18 - 22 at the villas at the Grand Californian.

I was sad to see so many Grad Nights scheduled while we are there. Since they give the teens an all-day park-hopper, the Parks could be over-run with them! Since this is the first year they're doing it this way, we don't know the direct impact. Their private party is from 11 pm - 3 am. So, hopefully, that means that Disneyland will be open until 11 pm for the general puclic. Mornings should be good, though!

My two sisters and I will be there June 2nd - 5th. I'm hoping Carsland opens later in June as I have very little desire to see it or deal with the crowds but whatever happens I know we'll have a great time! I don't remember where we are staying - we booked back in September and my younger sister has all the details.

We'll most likely go in the first couple of weeks of June, and depending on how our stay goes next month, my bet is that we'll stay at Howard Johnson's using the entertainment rate. The kids would LOVE their pool area.

It would be my husband, our two kids (ages 7 & 10), and me. Heck, maybe I'll try to talk my parents into it too.

We will be there June 24-July 1st, staying at Peacock Suites. My wonderful work provides free time share opportunities and just bought some slots in Anahiem. I am so excited to finally spend more than 2-3 days at one time here. We are planning on going to Universal that Saturday since we are AP holders and have blockout that day. The San Diego Zoo is also on our schedule, but not sure which day yet. It depends on the weather and crowds at this point.

My friend just booked GC for him and his parents.
I haven't booked yet, trying to decide if we are taking my niece with us or not before I book it. A little nervous about the price of GC!
Praying they have a good discount this summer!! Does anyone know what the discount for last summer was? Last summer we booked The Tropicana, but then when the discount came out it was just a couple hundred more to stay at Paradise Pier, so we upgraded. Now I guess we wait for that discount!! I wish they would hurry!!

We're going!!! This is our big trip as AP holders!! the other three trips are at most 4 days.

Dates are June 4-8 (mon-fri)
Staying at the HoJo with the AP rate (same as Ent. rate)
It'll be me and my babies again (DD11 and DS4) but this time my DH will be joining us later in the trip arriving Tuesday late night.

I've been hearing from Mousewait that there is a possibilty Carsland may open late May so excited!! Monkey will LOVE it!!

Currently have a June 17-19 reservation in a studio at VGC but may cancel it and come a week earlier depending on DH's boss' schedule, if I get a new job, etc. We do hope to go _sometime_ in June, whether or not Carsland is open to make use of our AP's, get a bit of a Disney park fix ... just can't commit to a date yet. July and August aren't in the cards for us for sure (too hot/crowded/hard to get time off), though we're keeping early September as a back-up if we can't make it in June.

Yay! A June thread! I expect June will be a popular month because of Cars Land and all the exciting new additions to California Adventure. There will probably be a lot of DIS'ers in the parks.

Would someone like to volunteer to keep a running list of who is going on which dates and where they are staying in June, to assist other DIS'ers in finding out who will be in the parks on their days?

If this is going to be the official check-in thread for June 2012, I can add it to our DLR Meets sticky at the top of the page. What happens sometimes is that when there is no running list of who is going and when, etc., someone else (other DIS'ers) will automatically start a check-in thread for the same month with a list, and then we end up with 2 threads for the same month or someone has to copy all the info from one thread to the other.
