We've been so lucky to avoid any bad weather (for the most part) on our past couple of trips. Our upcoming trip looks COLD (to us, we are Floridians
) which is fine and sometimes fun but one day looks very rainy too. Unfortunately, that's the day we move resorts and check-in to BLT. We may not have a room until the afternoon. It is also the day I have a FP for Frozen in the afternoon. I made it at 60 days and can't change it (I tried) So, we will make the most with what we have to deal with
It's me, DH and our two DD's (9 and 5)- DH and I have raincoats and I bought ponchos (they are heavier than the 'one time use' kind). I will bring extra shoes for the trip in case the ones we are wearing that day get all wet and I am going to grab some dollar store ponchos to cover the stroller with. Anything else we may need?
I have one question and feel sort of dumb asking it but... we will store our ponchos on the bottom of the stroller (in a plastic grocery store bag? is there a better way?) and use them as needed. Do we take them off at each attraction and put them in a bag (that I guess we will carry on the attraction?) and then put the wet ponchos back on before heading out. Also, I know most restaurants and attractions have stroller parking outside. If it is pouring we just cover the stroller and head in or would we permitted to take the stroller inside the restaurant?
Sorry, don't meant to sound like a moron, just trying to figure out best way to tour in the cold rain with two kids. Thanks!
