I've heard that when you're using the Rainforest Room, Senses will sell you a scrub and mitt for an extra fee, but has anybody tried bringing in their own products? Is there anything particularly special about their scrub that I wouldn't want to miss?

Well, the one I used was chocolate and peppermint and smelled WONDERFUL, but you could bring your own. They gave me the container in a lightweight bag with the scrub and told me to bring it back when I used my other pass so they could refill it. I plan on bringing my own scrub if we cruise again. I was given the scrub when I checked in even though I had the day pass that had been purchased online. Not everyone has had that experience.

I got the vanilla orange scrub and it made me break out in hives :( so definitely won't be using theirs again. I found I really didn't need it. I had way more fun just enjoying the tranquility and using the different showers.
I really wanted to try the scrub and had to ask them for it--which was surprising no one tried to sell me it...I was attempted to be very up sold after my massage.

I got the day pass online. WHen I checked in there was no attempt to sell me scrubs or anything else. I had the place to myself for about 2 hours minus 15 minutes where a couple came in, said it was too hot, and left. Next time I'll remember to pack a scrub of my own.

Ok so this question has left me a bit curious about what the rainforest room actually is. I got the impression it was just some sort of sauna with comfortable warm specially shaped seating. I was hesitant to try it due to the references to aromatherapy (I am very sensitive to perfumes, essential oils, etc and thought it might be too strong for my nose). Can someone give me more information? I could handle other people using scented body scrubs around me and maybe it is something I would enjoy (although I would need to use my own scrubs so I did not get irritated skin).

I am also quite sensitive to perfume type smells and if you do a tour of the spa on embarkation day you'll be able to handle the rainforest room because it's not overpowering at all

Just a question. Does anyone know all of the scrubs that they have? I read the chocolate mint and orange. Are the scrubs available listed anywhere? I plan on getting passes for my sister and myself. Thanks!

NM, I found the list. :)

Could you put the list on here? When I was on the Fantasy last, they have me the not and scrub for free and said I could refill it as often as I wanted.

I'm sorry, I'm on my phone and can't link but all I did was google "rainforest rooom disney dream" and it showed a lot of pages. I just picked the one that had scrubs listed. I believe there were 4. :)

Vanilla Orange, Chocolate Peppermint, Lavender Herbal and Tangerine. :goodvibes

The scrubs are meant to be used in the wet sauna. There wasn't anyone else in there any of the times I used it.

Now are you supposed to visit the different areas in a particular sequence? I seem to recall that the ancient Romans used to alternate between hot and cold in their public baths...

Hello,

I tried a 1-Day Pass to the Rainforest Room on the Fantasy for the first time last month. Personally, I thought that 2 out of the 3 saunas were way too hot for me. The 3rd sauna was better because the temperature was bearable and there was a floor to ceiling glass window in that sauna that gave a wonderful view of the ocean. I did not particularly enjoy any of the showers. Only one of them seemed to get hot enough for me. I just could not enjoy myself when the water in the others turned colder. I will say that I totally enjoyed the heated tile loungers though - pure heaven. On first glance, they don't look like they could be very confortable, but they really are. As for the two hot tubs, they were nice and offered great ocean views; however, because they are situated right in front of all the tile loungers, I felt uncomfortable because all the people laying on the tile loungers were staring directly at the hot tubs and it make it not very private. I guess I can't relax much with a line people staring straight at me. I think everyone should give the Rainforest Room a try because you might enjoy it overall more than I did and for the minimal price, it is worth a try.
