Neither - I go for the air conditioning!!!

The happiest I have ever been at AK was the first dsay I visited - it was boiling hot, and when I walked into the RFC it was freezing cold. I had a big Diet Coke, a nice meal, and got a chance to completely cool off and relax before going out into the heat again.

Now we eat lunch at RFC every time we go to AK - it's a must do for us!!!

I voted atmosphere. I love the theming, and we try and squeeze it in if possible because we don't have one close to us where we live.

I've only been to the one at DTD in Anaheim, but I assume they're all the same. We love the food, the atmosphere was cool the first time around, I could live without all the noise though. Bottom line is, I'd still go there just for the food, the rest...not so much.

We certainly don't go there for the food, and I doubt we will be returning any time soon. While the atmosphere is interesting, the food just doesn't match.

Both but I voted food. We love the appy sampler and the burgers are huge and not to terribly expensive. It is always a decent fun meal for our family, we have a local one we visit pretty often.

Yes you needed to include drinks in the survey.we have a RFC at the mall near us and we eat at the bar:cool1:

Hmm... went for the "atmosphere"

Having given this chain several chances in Orlando and elsewhere, it's now in the "Been there done that" In several chances I have never had even adequate service. (Are they butchering the cow for my hamburger? Why is my drink glass always empty? Where do the servers go back there and why don't they ever come out? Do I really have to tackle you to get a bill? and so on!)

I used to go for the Island Bruchetta, but since they took that off the menu we haven't been back.

I'm just curious on this. I like the food there myself, but the main reason we go is because of the atmosphere. I'd just like to know, if you go to Rainforest Cafe, what is the main reason - Food or atmosphere?

While we're okay with the food there, we do go there 100% for te atmosphere. We don't have a RFC in the Montreal area AND find it's an amazingly appropriate way to themingly end a day at the Animal Kingdom.

I think the place is TOTALLY over priced. We went once and after spending almost an hour waiting to get in the food wasn't worth it. You can get these meals over at Friday's or Ruby Tuesday. Seeing the walls rain and the gorilla move was neat, but we haven't been back in over 6 years.

I didn't vote because you don't have an other option. We went to the one in AK for the first time this year. We only went there because right now or back in August there was no ts restaurants in AK except RFC. The food was descent but it was too noisy. Also they need a better system in checking into the restaurants. It was confusing for a lot people.

I vote atmosphere , we went for the first time this year though it is noisy its fun, hope to talk dbf into going this trip ;)

We go cuz DD2 loves the mama and baby Panda at our RFC. We don't see too many Panda's at other RFC's and she particularly loves those two animals, along with the rest of the animals. The food is OK, but in particular we love the Mojo Bones included in the Maya Mix Grill.:thumbsup2

we go for the food and the atmosphere.....we go every trip....we especially loveeeeeeeeee the VOLCANOES.......that dessert is out of this world:love:

We DON'T go because of the atmosphere.

It's just so loud. We ended up leaving after about 10 minutes. It was too loud for the adults and the children. There was no place to go where you could sit with your family and not have to yell to be heard, not very realxing for us.

We would love to try it because the menu and the food pics look nice, there is a large variety.
