Rainforest Cafe - where?

We waited until way too late at night to try to get dinner and I had a bright idea of walking to the Rainforest Cafe. We went all the way down Downtown Disney District and I never found it. We ended up getting McDonalds to go on the way back to the hotel.

So what is Rainforest Cafe next to?

If you walk towards DLH, it is on the right hand side down towards the hotel. I'm pretty sure it's after the monorail, and before ESPN.

It's on the far end of DTD, across from the ESPN Club and AMC theaters. When you walked down DTD, did you see the monorail station? Both would have been on your right (assuming you started at the DL/DCA end of DTD) - the monorail station would come up first and then almost immediately afterwards would have been RFC.

Yes it's all the way at the very end (or the very beginning) of DTD next to ESPN. Kitty corner to Earl of Sandwich!

There is a huge BAND STAND/STAGE right next to RAINFOREST and you will for sure see the band stand!

It's so hard to know if you should plan your day or just go with it. I guess we went with it. So tired now. We're going to sleep in a little.

The architecture is like nothing else in DTD. It's awesome, for it looks like an ancient pyramid temple. Kind of reminds me of Indy.

One way to find it is parking lot vs pedestrian entrance. It is on the parking lot side. We walked from our hotel and I forgot...we learned that the hard way on our last visit! lol.

It's across from the movie theatre. From the looks of the front, it looks like JUST a store. I was fulled the first time, but I know now.

Yeah, their gift shop is the first thing you see, but if you see their sign, you can't miss it. It's lit up with torches and looks like a jungle, really.

Found it and ate there today. Yesterday if we would have kept walking 2 minutes longer, we would have been there. I don't know if they still would have been opened though.
