Rainforest Cafe vs Wolfgang express

It's a toss up here. Does anyone know which gives the bigger portions? Pros and cons of each? We are thinking of the Rainforest at AK if that makes a difference. Any opinions..????

Rainforest Cafe probably gives bigger portions. I would also say that the "ambiance" there is a bit nicer, and definitely more themed, if that's what you're looking for. Wolfgang Puck probably has a bit better food, but smaller and less ambiance. As far as I know, both Rainforest Cafe locations are the same in terms of menu and overall experience.

I think we are leaning towards Rainforest. The kids will probably have more fun there.

Definitily Rainforest Cafe. Wolfgang Puck Express is ok, but it doesn't even compare to Rainforest Cafe.

There are three Wolfgang Puck experiences. The Market place has the Wolfgang Puck Express. The Westside has the Express, Cafe, and "Upstairs" all in the same building. Express is basically counter service. The Cafe is the main dining choice, and upstairs has the higher end dining room.

We would pick the Wolfgang Puck Cafe over the Rainforest on the food alone. The kids might like the atmosphere at Rainforest better, but we have found that sometimes too much stimulation at dinner is not a good thing!

Wolfgang Puck Cafe would be our choice, we really enjoy the food there.

RFC is much better themed but WGP Express has better food. WGP Express is a CS meal on the dining plan but RFC doesn't participate.

I don't think I'd make a trip to DTD just to eat at the Express.

we really liked the pizza at WP Express but got the lobster meal at rfc and it was huge we easliy split it ( i would have liked it better if they had browned the top of the crab mixture they stuff the lobster with. we were using the kvl vouchers which has an entree, appe and dessert and we were absolutely stuffed.) if you belong to the safari club you can get a free appe or I think it's 10% off a meal...you also get a $10 off joining coupon and a BD and anniversary coup.each yr. details on their website) RFC is about on a caliber as an applebees as far as quality goes imo( fine not bad but not 5 star either)but has a lot more fun atmsophere than wp
