I just received a coupon for a free volcano or $10.00 with a food purchase of $25.00 or more it expires 5/11/08. Be on the look out for it in your email.

I've never eaten at a Rainforest Cafe...how is it? We will be taking a vacation to Dallas and we were thinking about visiting the one in Grapevine. Please leave comments!!

I love Rainforest cafe. We don't have one close to us though :(

Just an FYI ( and I got the coupon too)
I lost my card last year and when I called to get replacement, and was telling the woman how I wanted to use my birthday coupon before it expired she told me the coupons never actually expire and I should have no problem using my coupons after the date. I actually live about an hour from the rainforest but I have used the expired 10 off 25 from last year in Disney, and West Hartford and my birthday and anniversey coupons as well.
:thumbsup2

We don't have a RFC near us and I took our expired coupons to Anaheim with us in January and asked to use one of them at the RFC in DTD and they refused to take them because they had expired. :confused3

how long did it take you to get a replacement card?

You know...it just occured to me that I am a member of the Safari Club, and other than when I initially joined and got my welcome gift certificate in the mail or whatever, I have never gotten a single thing from them! I wonder if they entered my email wrong or something.

How often are you guys getting coupons?

ETA...Just updated my profile on the Rainforest Cafe web site. We'll see if that helps. I wonder what I've all missed out on? I've been a member for over two years, and other than using the discount IN the restaurant...I've gotten nothing!

Yes, we signed up a few years ago, but i think it was $15.

However you get that money back. There is a $10 GC you get immediately and another $10 in the mail (I think that is how it worked when I joined a long, long time ago).

I have to get me a new card I can't find mine. I think they forgot to give it back to me last time i was there.. I love rainforest. The bamba bbq chicken wrap is the best..

Yes, they do charge $15.00 for a lifetime memebership. Like the PP stated you get $10.00 certificate mailed to you when you join. Also, everytime you go you can either get a free appetizer of 10% off your check (up to 5 people I think). Also, you get a discount at the store as well.

Then you get a $10.00 off coupon for your b-day and then randomly you will get coupons for free desserts or $10.00 off. We live about 45 min from ours in Connecticut we usually go every couple of month. My kids love it!!!

Definately worth the money if you have one near you.

Do they charge for this membership?

For those of you who have lost their cards. Here is a number you can call to get a replacement card. I got this off the back of my card 800-552-6379 ext 5235

There is another great perk with the Safari Club. I live by the one at the Mall of America and there is always at least an hour wait. But, if you have the Safari Club and show them your card you get seated right away. Plus you get a free appetizer or 10% of the bill. Also, during the year they will send out coupons for your Birthday and the month of the anniversary you joined (usually $5 coupons).

what???? I signed up last year in DTD to get quick seating(thanks disboards) -it's a LIFETIME membership? I thought it was a year..... for sure? I got the 410 coupon for signing up,but that's it so far..... the coupon for signing up says"hurry in before this expires" but has no exp date- will it still work for my next trip in January?

Can anyone give me reviews?? I've never been and I am considering going to the one in Grapevine, Tx.

I signed up a few years ago just for quick seating at Disneyland but since then I too have received nothing in the way of discounts. We dont' live anywhere near one so until now, getting ready to go to WDW I haven't really thought about the discounts. I wish I got one of those great coupons. I even updated my profile a few months ago.:confused3

Your Safari Club membership also gives you the free appetizer or 10% discount at their sister restaurants (like Joes Crab Shack and Landry's).

Thanks for the tip - I'll try to use this expired coupon when we go in October. We love the atmosphere, but the few times we've been, we always have trouble with the service.

We were getting 2 $5 coupons each september for birthday and anniversary. We always went to disney in july/aug so I had called and asked if we could change the dates because we live about an hour away from the one in our state. The lady told me that the coupons never expire. I then had tried to use a coupon in my state that had expired and they gave me a hard time but they eventually let me use it. I have used expired coupons in orlando and never had a problem. The membership is for life. I don't really like the food and I think they are a little overpriced but we do go every now and then.
