Rainforest Cafe DTD/ADR Question

We have reservations for DDs birthday dinner in August. It's a Saturday night, and I've noticed that the reservations already seem to have almost filled up (the only time available is 8:30pm). I know there always seems to be a large crowd gathered outside all the DTD restaurants, especially RC, so what sort of wait times can we expect even with reservations? Just looking for a general idea...thanks!

While we've had mixed experience with their wait times...i.e. sometimes seated immediately-sometimes a LONG wait...you may want to call them if you're not happy with your adr time. Rainforest Cafe only puts a small number of adrs on the Disney website. Most people have a lot of luck calling and getting better times.

Thanks for the reply! I'm OK with our time...it's at 5:30 and I would have preferred something like 6 or 6:30. If we can anticipate a 20-30 min wait time anyway, I might just leave the reservation as it is. With an impatient 3 year old, I just didn't want to have to wait an hour after our reservation time. I imagine on a summer Saturday night, all the restaurants at DTD can get pretty crazy!
