somewhere I heard about a rainforest cafe club has anyone joined this ? If so what are the perks and how do you join?

You also get 10% off entrees and walk in priority seating. There are some other perks too but I cant remeber them

I am in it. I think it was about $15.00 to join. I got a coupon for $10.00 off my next visit. I get 10% off or a free appitizer at any Landry's restaurants and priority seating. I do recall something being excluded about the Disney locations. I think we also get a coupon for one birthday. I am sure the website will list all the details.

I joined 2 weeks ago. I got 10 % off that night. It says it doesn't include alcoholic beverages, but the waitress took the 10 % off everything, including 4 drinks.

The pamphlet said 10 dollars off next meal and the 10 % off or free appetizer as well as priority seating without calling ahead as the previous poster said.

The pamphlet also said "the more times you use your Safari Club card, the more benefits you get" so I would imagine the more times you ate there, you would receive additional offers via mail.

They also said that you will want to celebrate your birthday and your "anniversary (the date you joined Safari club)" with Rainforest Cafe, though they didn't specifically state the exact coupon or offer they would send for those dates.

I think it's worth it.

We joined RFC about 5years ago mailnly because we eat the Mall of America locatoin several times a year.

It is a one time fee for the card as long as you use it at least once a year.

We don't get any special offers from them except a birthday $5 coupon once a year.

I received a coupon for dessert (Volcano) on the aniversary when I purchased the card Along wi coupons for birthday.You also get discounts for items bought in their store.

I also just got a $5 off coupon for my anniversary of when I joined the club. We just used it a couple weeks ago at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. We were able to get seated within 10 minutes of being there once I showed them that I had the card. That is by far the best benefit since the lines and wait for this restaurant are always so long.

We joined in March - we got our $10 coupon and about a month after my birthday (early May) I got a $5 coupon. You also get either 10% off or a free appetizer (we usually get the free app.). You can't combine the discounts however - use either the coupon or the 10%/free appetizer.

We use it mostly at Joe's Crab Shack since that is closer for us than Rainforest. I haven't heard or read anything before here about exclusions to the Disney locations, so hopefully the benefits are the same there as everywhere else.

You get a $5 birthday coupon and a $5 anniversary coupon each year as well.

They've just started sending me emails. I've been a member for 3 years. It's paid for itself many times over.

If you join online, how long will it take to receive your card?

My son's birthday is October 5. We're leaving for our trip on September 29. If I join the club today, do you think I'll get the card before our trip?

You used to be able to join right at the restaurant. Does anyone know if you can still do that?

When I joined just after over a year ago, you could not join online. You had to join at one of the restaurants. It didn't take long, though, and the benefits (such as next available seating) started right away.

you can call the number (Think it's on the rfc web, if not pm me and i'll get if off the back of my card) and join that way .that is what i did..also to stay a currrent member you have to go to a RFC once a yr... it used to be any laundry's but now ( according to the customer service rep i talked to a couple days ago to change my street address) they can't validate it anymore except at rfc( you still get the free app or 10% off ect at any laundry's, they just can't keep you current) so if you dont' go to rfc once a yr( none by me) you can send in a fax of the receipt from what laundry's you went to and the csr said she would keep me current that way. also the anniversary coups. ect are only good at Rfc,,, bummer i know since they will expire before i can use them

i dont think anything at disney RFCs are exclulded..it lists both locations on the website and i used the $10 coup at the gift shop, the free appe with the vacation kingdom lunch voucher ( WAY to much food) and the 10%off for a breakfast so don't know what it would exclude

I've used the Safari card at both RFC locations at WDW with no problems.

The only discount exclusion I've run into is on clearance items in the gift shop. No additional percent off there, but they are dirt cheap anyway. You CAN use your birthday and anniversary certificates for clearance. That's what I've done with my last two.
