Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney???'s

We have never eaten at Rainforest Cafe and would like to for my birthday in September. Do any of you know if they accept reservations in advance and if they do anything special for birthdays at all? If you could let me know I would really appreciate it. Thanks-

As far as if they do anything special I do not know, but they will accept a reservation early. At least the one in dtd did. You have to call the Rainforest directly and make the reservation with them no through disney dining. We ate there in August and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. If you can't find the number online I got it from disney dining.

I called Disney Dining and booked 180 in advance for RC at AK. My reservation is on Nov 4th, so I dont think you will have a problem booking an ADR, also just mention your birthday celebration and Im sure they will look after you.
Don't forget to get a birthday badge from Guest Services

You can make a reservation at RC at DTD, I have one for my August trip. The number is 407-827-8500.

They will bring out a Volcano dessert for your birthday but you pay for it. If you are going to make an ADR for Rainforest Cafe you have to call them directly since it isn't owned/operated by Disney, but Disney Dining can connect you to them.

We ordered that when we visted the one in Maryland. It cost us $11.99 but it was shared between myself, DH and DS4. We couldn't even finish it! But man was it good!

Thanks so much for the responses. I did call them directly and was able to book a reservation for September which was great. I guess we will have to wait and see about any additional birthday surprises--I am just glad that I will be celebrating my birthday in Disney!!
