Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom?

Back in 1998, I seem to recall a "Rainforest Cafe" located by the entrance to "Animal Kingdom". Could this be possible? The Cafe now has a different location. Am I confusing it with a different restaurant? Can anybody help?

There is one at the AK entrance.. Your not crazy.. lol I always wondered why they had one is DTD and AK..

there is still a Raiinforest Cafe at the entrance to Animal Kingdom, and also one at downtown Disney

Some people claim that the service is better at the AK one than the DTD one. We have only been to the one in AK though so I really could not say if that is true.

I think the Rainforest Cafe is easy to miss. I didn't even realize there was an entrance both outside and inside the park, but it is just to the left near the park entrance.
