Rainforest Cafe (AK) - Admission needed?

We hadn't planned on purchasing park admission tickets for our irst day in Orlando since we are not getting in until almost 3:00. DH wants to go to Rainforest Cafe in AK while on this trip. Unfortunately, the only time that I can fit it into our schedule is on our first day there. I was able to get a PS for 4:45 and plan to use the Connections Lunch Vouchers. Obviously, it wouldn't be worth it for us to purchase an additional day on our hopper passes just for dinner. We have only been to RFC in AK once before and I vaguely remember turnstiles right outside the restaurant to get into the park. Can anyone please tell me if you know for sure that we can get into the restuarant without park admission? Thanks!!

There are 2 entrances to the AK Rainforest, one just before you get to the ticket windows, and one that does offer direct access to and from the park. So, you won't need to use any park admission to get into the restaurant.

There is another RFC at Downtown Disney with pretty much the same food and a slightly different atmosphere (mainly different on the outside). If you're staying off-site and don't have APs, you will be charged to park at DAK to visit the Rainforest Cafe, but parking is Free at Downtown Disney.
