Rainforest at Animal Kingdom?

We are going to WDW the first week of Aug. We will be at the AK on that Thursday. We would like to make PS for the Rainforest Cafe at 6pm. My question is will the buses run late enough to get us back to the ASMo? I think the park closes like at 7. I would rather not take a taxi or drive our car. There will be 6 of us.

I remember the buses running over there long after the park closed. They do go back to look for those who left their cars and who have stopped to eat. However, go post this on the transportation board and maybe one of those who work for Disney transportation can answer the question for you.

My travel agent says we can't get advance seating for lunch at the Rain Forest. Has anyone had trouble getting seated there for lunch?

I have a lunchtime priority seating at the AK Rainforest Cafe for 1pm 28th June! He might be talking about the Down Town Disney location, although some people say you can get reservations if you ring direct.
