Rained Out Polynesian Luau?

While we were eating at O'Hana one night, we were watching a long line of people coming in from the Polynesian Luau. It had been pouring down rain and the people were soaked. Somebody asked them if they were getting a refund, and they said no. How does Disney make it up to these people? I would be interested in knowing if they were able to eat, (although the entertainment was probably cancelled). As we were thinking about doing a PS for the Luau in the future, I'd like to know if they received a "raincheck" or what in a situation like this.

I had purchased my tickets for a luau a couple of years ago, and it was canceled due to cold temperatures (December), yes, they did a refund...but of course, the cancellation was announced about mid-day so we were never seated or had any food.

I haven't been to the "new" luaua, but the prices for the "old" luau showed the breakdown between food charge and entertainment charge. If the entertainment was canceled, surely they should have refunded at least that portion upon presentation of the receipt.

Last Dec. they cancelled some shows because of low temps. The entertainers performed upstairs beside 'Ohana's. It was great to sit in the bar and listen to the music and my daughter got to hula.

A few nights later we were at the Luau in the rain. They did not cancel. The entertainers rushed through their performance. All of the guests are under cover so we did not get wet.
