for those that have been to Aulani, is it worth paying for the entire stay to use Rainbow Reef?

My girls are 8 and 13

The water is FREEZING!! But if your kids don't mind that, the fish in there are pretty cool!

Definitely! My son loved it and went at least 2 times a day. He's 8 years old and he had never put his face in the water until he saw the fish in rainbow reef.

Hello , your post caught my eye because my daughters will be 8 and 13 when we go this October. The 8 yr. old is really excited to try out rainbow reef, I'm hoping it will make her more comfortable snorkeling in the ocean. I'm also wondering how good the teen activities will be for the 13 yr old. Anyway , assuming you are going before October I would love to know how your kids enjoyed the activities and any tips you could pass along. Just wanted to say hi! :)

We're there now. My 6 year old son enjoyed it, but we'll probably only do it for a day. The water is freezing and it takes him awhile to recover. The length of stay pass only really saves you money if you do it three days or more. We decided to do it a bunch of times in one day.
