One quick thing I wanted to add. My older brother Gary is big in the Mason's, Scottish Rite and Shrine. The highest honor you get in Scottish Rite is called a 33rd degree. The level right below that is the Red Hat. They base it on how much work you do for the group, community and everything. He received his Red Hat last Saturday Nite. Here is a pic of him and their youngest son Kurt. Who like his dad is in all three of the groups.
He is a greeter in our local Shrine and last year in an 8 state area was named Shriner of the year. He was chief greeter for years and now he is the head assistant to the Potentate. I know he works very hard and donates tons of time and money to the effort. They do so many good things. Very proud of Gary.
