The game looks like fun! How nice of the cheerleaders to wear pink:goodvibes

Also, wish I won $5,000! Much needed for my upcoming Disney trip!!:lmao:

How are you doing Katie? I haven't seen you around for a while. How are those gorgeous children?

Football is always fun to me. Till it's pro, then not so much. But I watch a lot of it. The girl that won that money could really use it (as we all could at this time). It was nice to see her. Sheri told her she would have to buy when they went to lunch next week.

Sounds like a fun evening, Ginny...minus the bad calls, bad time keeping, and male teen testorone bullies/confrontations! ;)
Hope his pix come out great! still have not decided what I'm doing about Dayne's sr pix yet?!? he takes cap & gown through the school in Nov. I told him we would set up a hair appt two & half weeks before maybe three.

Have a great day! I'm thinking of going to take a nap, I woke up around 4 am to a wet bed; I now have a crick in my neck--thinking a little aleve might do the job! I think its allergies; when the weather goes from one to another my allergies always act up!

A nap is lovely. I've been up since 8 and still in pj's and don't even care. Don has been outside working on the house and here I sit. I hope his pix are good too. From her website she does wonderful work. Sheri went to high school with her so maybe she'll be nice. Our school doesn't do cap and gown pix but if you want something in the yearbook other than your registration pix you need to turn them in by 10/30. Austin's hair looks good right now and Sheri had him shave the first of the week so it's all grown out again. He looked really nice last night when I saw him. Except for the bruises and scratches on his arms from the game. Christy says she will take out the blemishes. At least he has none on his face. The accutane procedure worked wonders for him as did the braces. His teeth are gorgeous. I hope he smiles good like he did at Disney, Unless he is comfortable he will give that half-a-- smile of his. I want to see teeth.

Have a great weekend. I have no plans whatsoever and liking it that way.

Ginny

Give my man a kiss. I woulda changed your sheets for you.

OH! thank you Ginny!! Danny just griped told me get a towel and ya'll lay on that:headache:
Ashton poor sweet heart was OUT (he had a diaper on and it was not even that wet:confused3 I think it may have been how he was laying--not all bad this is only the second time since he was born that we have had an accident) He has been staying dry all night; but, he had a cup of milk before he went to bed last night. And, potty training has been hard today! he wet himself twice today:sad2: I think he is on his first slide back this week.

I hate children's tattoos; but, I am trying "Handy Manny" tats today to see if we can get it back in the swing of things....

BTW: no naps, Danny is trying to get Dayne's car running...I told him he needs to sell it or buy a new motor:scared1:

trying to figure out what to cook for dinner...Joe bought a chicken lasagna I think that is what they may be getting w/some sort of veggies:idea:

I am evil. I'd told Danny to switch sides. :rotfl: It is hard on that training situation. I'm like you I would never to a real tattoo on a child, but they love those washable kind. My grandsons had everyone they made. Hey if it works, do it. Can't hurt to try.

Poor Dayne and that car. He has had some issues with that for sure. Why weren't we born rich instead of beautiful. I'm hoping we go out to Olive Garden for dinner. That is what Sheri chose last week. Of course, Aust wants Red Lobster because of the allyoucaneat shrimp. Either is good with me. Always ready to go out and not cook. We ended up with sandwiches last night before the game. They were good tho. Don got good sub buns and a Kretchmeyer ham. With those tomatoes out of the garden we've been enjoying makes things tasty. Don picked a 2 gallon bucket yesterday. I'm trying to keep them eaten. At least not a lot of calories, just the acid. I should be ill.

Don has worked outside all day. I finally showered and got dressed. Still sitting in my chair tho. Laaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. :rotfl2:

Ginny, it sounds like you had a nice day today. I hope you got what you wanted for dinner. Love the football pics. I was in band so I've always loved football games. I miss going to high school games, but I'm not in any hurry for my kids to be in high school (or even middle school), so I can wait. Where I grew up middle school was completely separate from high school for sports, but here the middle school kids are all "Jr." whatever the high school is (Jr. Chiefs, Jr. Eagles etc) and have the same uniforms. It's very weird to me, but that's how they do it. When I taught 8th grade last week one of the kids (one I had last year long term) asked if I was going to the football game that night. Uh, no. Like I said, I love high school (and college) football, but I'm just not into high school games yet. I don't even know where my kids will go to high school, so it's hard for me to form an allegience (since I will surely have a job by then and we will have bought a house...who knows where right now). I'm glad Austin did such a good job. I'm also glad I don't have to worry about senior pics. I am totally enjoying 4 & 7 and they can stay those ages forever as far as I'm concerned (though I know they won't :sad2:).

Connie, Will still wets the bed (though we do Goodnights now) so I've done a TON of nighttime changes. Occasionally with me in the same bed, but usually not. We finally started using Goodnights a little bit after his 7 year checkup (after a talk with the peditrician who said it's perfectly normal-especially since his dad wet the bed until age 10 :rolleyes1). I haven't had to change the bed in the middle of the night in a long time. Christian, interestingly doesn't wet the bed but maybe once every three weeks. Maybe even less often. When he does he comes and gets in bed with me, so I don't have to change the bed until morning (they both have waterproof matress covers just in case).

We had baseball practice this afternoon and have spent the rest of the day watching FOOTBALL!!! Love me some college football. Matt is a big 'Bama fan and the rest of us are huge GATOR fans. We're enjoying ourselves this evening...and Matt's happy too right this second. We've got baseball practice for both boys again tomorrow and baseball practice for Will on Monday. Otherwise, just relaxing. I think my brother is coming over tomorrow or Monday (not sure which). It's nice to just relax. :)

Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend! Gotta go check the score. ;)

Hi there Heather. Since we are in a small town the middle school and intermediate schools are all tigers also. When we lived in the city all the grades, middle and junior all had their own names too. Both girls were in band and really liked it. It was fun to do all the parades. Our band doesn't do but 2 parades a year and the rest is performance. The do a theme. This year it is night at the ballet and they are doing Nutcracker and Swan Lake. The music is really pretty. The go to tons of competions and do very well. My girls were also in a drum and bugle corps. The first all girl corps in the nation actually. Sheri got to march at Bush senior inaugaration. We all flew to DC to watch. It was way cool. She also marched in San Antonio at the Cinco D Mayo parade. It was night time and the first time I came around looking for those light sticks. Had to get them at Bass Pro. Now they are everywhere. Of course I had to chaperone all of the so I could go too :rotfl2:

I was president of the parents club and also the assistant at Sandi's project graduation and at Sheri's I was in charge of it. I stayed very busy with school projects and the girls. I miss it. Sheri is the assistant this year for Austin's project graduation so she is asking me for pointers. I told her I would come in handy some day.:rotfl:

Enjoy baseball practice. It is very time consuming for sure. It looks like the boys really like it tho and it makes it worthwhile.

I have my packages ready to mail on Tuesday. So look for them the middle of the week.

Ginny

OK! what packages?!? where did I miss that one!

PM me your address. I'm sending wine out to you girls that want some. I packaged one for you. I figured I'd get your address eventually. Now you must remember this is Don's special homemade stuff. It really is quite good if you are a wine drinker of which I'm not.

Ginny

hey everyone!!

just dropping by to see how yall are doing.:)

We are all good Amanda. How are you doing? How is school? I'm sure you are staying busy. We've missed having you around but school does come first. Take care of yourself and let us know what is going on with you.

Im doing good. I was online applying for jobs last weekend. UGH!! it was horrible. but im hanging in there. school is ok minus getting up super early but hey i get a ride with my friend so i dont gota get up til 6 but if i were to take the bus i needa get up way earlier.

im going to school to be an architect. whoo! lol and she gave us an assignment where we need to design a two story house that has to be under 1200 square feet. so that been keeping me pretty busy.

i should technically be cleaning right now :lmao: before mom gets back!!

Now that wouldl be a good profession. Good for you. I agree that early thing stinks. I get up at 6 every morning and sometimes I would just like to sleep till 7. I don't have to be to work til 9. It's that Princess that makes me get up. Don leaves at 5:15 and at 6 she thinks she will die if she doesn't eat. Thank goodness you don't have to ride the bus.

I lived with my grandma in high school. She lived in neverland. The bus picked me up at 6:15 and I got to school at 9. I left school at 3:15 and got home at 6:30. It was one long day. Sometimes in the afternoons I would get off at a different stop and walk one and 1/2 miles and could be home by 5:00. It was way better.

Enjoy your day off tomorrow. Good luck on the job hunt.

ive been in the academy for 3 years now. its Pretty good. bless Don's heart. i wouldnt be functioning right to leave at 5:15! now that makes me feel lucky to wake up at 6am.

3 hours on the bus to and from school?? now thats a killer. i would def take a diff stop and walk the 1 1/2 miles sometimes. then sit on the bus forever. thats nuts. at least thats done and over with huh?

thank goodness for the day off. im just going to be doing nothing but sleeping :lmao: Mom been telling me that soon they'll be looking for seasonal people for the holidays and hey ill take a seasonal place just to be saving up some cash!

Just wanted to say hi Ginny. Are you relaxing this weekend? You need to be! We haven't done anything but watch football and go to baseball practice. It's so sweet of you to send out those packages. Don't send any to Amanda, though she's not old enough! ;)

Amanda it sounds like school is going well. I'm not a morning person either, but my kids have got to get to school (and I actually get called to sub, sometimes). Being an architect sounds like a great job. That should be an interesting assignment. Good luck with it!

Connie, keep up! :rotfl: Hope you guys had a relaxing weekend too!

I happened to have had a lazy weekend. I did shower and dress. We went for one more birthday dinner. Sheri insists she has till Wednesday to celebrate. I don't know where my kids learn this stuff.

I have to cook tomorrow tho. She did ask where her cake was tonite and I informed her I was making it tomorrow. She said I have to bake a cake a day till I get the one she wants. Then she messed up while we were at Olive Garden that her fav was lemon Italian creme there and they happened to see that same cake at Sam's. So tomorrow I go to Sams and buy the right cake then I'm done and don't even have to bake. Except for brownies for Austin. he doesn't like lemon. I don't know who's kid he is.

I have watched football and enjoyed it. Don doesn't like football except for Austin's of course.

Enjoy your day tomorrow. I am going to finish cleaning my house. ych.

Ginny

And no dear Amanda doesn't get a package. I think I could be in trouble for doing that. Sorry Amanda.
