Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

Ginny, just found your report. Only read the first two pages but wow, you really pulled off the surprise. Can't believe that you had energy to go to the park the first day after all that.

Going back to read more.

Thanks for joining in. It was such fun. Hard to believe and old lady can have such fun huh? :rotfl2: I had the time of my life for sure.

OK, I am up to page 12 now. Sounds like you are all having a great time. Love the pic of your DD dancing with Mickey and I thought every one went to the store to try on hats in the rain. Loved the pics.

Regarding your family story isn't it wonderful how we can love them whether they are born in the family or happen others way. I do believe that you end up with the people that you belong with. Wonderful story.

You are reading quite quickly.

We did have a great time. I hope we get to do it again.

I agree with your statement. I am so thankful everyday for my family. They mean the world to me for sure. Each and every one of them.

Ginny

Just wanted to say HI Ginny. It's been a couple days since I actually posted on your TR. I think. :rotfl:

My favorite part of this picture it is all the seniors that have played together since 2nd grade mighty mights. The coach had the JV in so varsity wouldn't get any injuries.

Still keeping up but wanted to mention that I just read about your birthday surprise. So it seems that secret keepers run in you family.:rotfl: What a great birthday present and to think that I only get a T-shirt.

Regards to cancer, yes cancer s*u*c*k*s. Been there, done that.

It was so awesome that my dear Don thought to do something for me. Sheri said he gave her a choice of 3 things and she was the final picker. She did very well. I can't believe they booked so many months ago and didn't tell. I love my family. I think I have said that like a 100 million kajillion times. I can't say it enough.

I hope you had success with your cancer. I have the cutest pink shirt that says 'fight like a girl'. I was very fortunate in one way and not so much another but I did get a good report the other day. It is a terrible disease. My dear father in law is really struggling right now. It just breaks my heart to watch. He is a wonderful man. And my favorite person that was ever in my life (my grandma) had one that lasted for 6 years before she finally gave in. Unbelievable how strong she was.

I hope you are still enjoying the report. There are a few of us girls that talk a lot and tend to get off topic. Sorry. I have met some wonderful friends and we have a really good support group for whatever happens to any of us. We know we are there of each other.

What great jamboree pictures! I know that you are the proud grandmama. I would be.

John and I were just saying that we need to call Hunter's football coach and find out when they start practice. One of the coachs' wives called us while we were on vacation. She was just checking in with us (they are some of our great friends) and said they hadn't decided when practice would start.

Yes, we do tend to get off topic sometimes don't we.:rolleyes1

I have watched those boys play for a long time. I just love it. I wish Aust would continue in college. We shall see.

Hopefully Hunter will start soon. How fun for him.

Great jamboree pictures Ginny! Hard to believe how fast the time has passed since 2nd grade isn't it (not that I really want to think like that since Will is in 2nd grade right now!)

I know how proud of him you must be!

Thank you Heather. I am proud of all my grandchildren. Just right now he is having more activity being a senior and so many last things he is going to be doing. I loved 2nd grade. I remember Sheri's 2nd grade she got her glue taken away. They used to use Elmer's. She would glue her hands together. She loved glue. She was a firm believer that glue and her Dad could fix anything. Such a sweet innocent time. That was the only time I was ever called to the school for either of the girls.

When we went to breakfast this morning an old school friend of the girls was there. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years. He was in Sandi's class but Sheri said he was her saviour. No one gave her guff that he didn't take care of. I always had lots of boys at our house. Not boyfriends but large groups of boys. The girls had their boyfriends but they always took their friends over the boyfriends. I kinda felt sorry for the boyfriends sometimes. Those were fun days.

UGGG. I'm not sure if I've mentioned Will and the "girlfriend problem" on my PTR yet. Probably. He has literally had a girlfriend every year in school since he was 2. I'm not exaggerating.

At 2 it was Lindsey. They were inseperable. I have pictures.

He didn't go to school for more than a month at 3 (it was right after Christian was born, so I was home anyway).

At 4 it was Zoe. She was in the PreK class across the very small hall (there were only 2 PreK classes at his school). She also went to the same church. One night after Awana, she kissed him good-bye. On the lips. Her mother was the Awana teacher.

In Kindergarten it was Madelynn (Maddie). He talked about her almost from day one. I have a picture of her from the Christmas party. In April, when they went to the zoo, I was the chaperone for the only co-ed group in his class. Maddie was in our group. When they got off the bus and lined up, they were holding hands.

Last year, in 1st grade, it was Alyssa (still haven't figured that one out, Alyssa is a bit of a ditz-no offense). In February the bully in his class threatened to "kill" him. In March the bully punched Will in the face (because another a little girl in the class insisted that if he wanted Alyssa back, Jeremy had to punch Will). Obviously Alyssa perferred Will. Eventually Jeremy was moved to a different class. Yes. Punched in the face. Over a girl. IN FIRST GRADE! There were also two other girls I heard about in another class. Hannah and someone else. One time when I was in the cafeteria having lunch with Will, they were turned around from their table talking to him.

So far this year I haven't heard much. He did come home the first day talking about Michelle and Isabella who were both his girlfriends (ironically, Isabella was in his PreK class). But I haven't heard much since then. He mentioned Alyssa when I was having lunch with him on Thursday (Alyssa is in another class this year-I don't think Jeremy came back to Will's school at all) and I told him ABSOLUTELY NOT. I never really make a big deal about the girlfriend thing because it's still cute, but there was too much trouble over this girl last year. That same day at lunch two little girls went out of their way to walk past his table out of the cafeteria. One of them kind of tapped Will on the arm as they walked past and I'm pretty sure I saw giggling. I think it was the same Hannah as last year (she seemed sweet).

All this trouble (well, not so much trouble) and Will is in 2ND GRADE. He's 7! I'm afraid of what's going to happen in a couple of years. I know the boy is cute (so is his brother, come to that), but he's always been girl crazy, and the combination is eventually going to result in a :headache: for me!

Oh, I almost forgot. SEVERAL girls put their phone numbers in his yearbook when they signed it-in KINDERGARTEN. You just have to :rotfl: when your son has phone numbers written in his yearbook with the numbers written backwards!

Heather, that is so totally cute. That Will is a cutie for sure. One would never think of those problems in those lower classes would they? You have to just kinda slough it off but also learn where to nip it in the bud. You have done well. You probably don't even want to think about Christain. Have you checked Jaycn's site yet tonite. It is great.

Ginny...you are too much for me! I love that your mind works in the same crazy ways!

Cute about the guys (football). Don't you love it when kids grow up together!

AND YES, CANCER SUCKS! Big time!:sad2:

I just checked it!!!

Wow. You're good. Got any lottery numbers for me?

I've been sitting here waiting for her to post the surprise (because I just knew she was going to post it right away), but I didn't see anything. Then I saw that you posted and figured it was in response to the first part. I decided to check anyway.

Amazing. Just amazing. I am completely in awe of you Jay. I will continue to read and learn from her.

I do love it. I do have some Nov cruise pics I'm going to post. I've been getting them in Photobucket. Fun Fun kids.

Yes, I can honestly say I hate cancer. I don't know that I have ever hated anything. I'm a lover remember. But I truly hate cancer and what it does to those we love most.

I have said it before. She just blows me away. I don't know where she comes up with these ideas. I just knew on that last one that would be the best of all worlds. Youhate leaving but you want to be with your family. How could it be better.

Love the jamboree pics! I especially love the cheerleader's outfits:cheer2:

Leave it up to me to notice;)
