Hi! My FI and I are set to get married @ 11am on Sunset Pointe on WEDNESDAY! Needless to say, I am very excited...BUT I checked the weather channel and it calls for T-storms. I know this is kind of common in FL, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is nice and sunny Wed. morning. If it isn't, I am guessing we'll get moved inside. How disappointing! Did it rain on anyone else's wedding day? And if it did...how did you survive???

Well, if it does rain, just remember that it is good luck! And, who knows, you may end up loving the indoor location-it will most likely be air conditioned!! ::yes::

:D

FYI, this time of year in Florida, thunderstorms are very common, but they are ofter afternoon thunderstorms, brought on by all that radiant heat. So I'd say youhave a good chance of having the ceremony outside! I'll send some pixie dust your way!

Good luck Megan! I hope you get a bright sun shiny wedding day. If not isn't there a waterfall inside that you could get married infront of?

Megan I'll do the "no-rain dance" for you - good luck and have a beautiful day :)

You are all so sweet! Thanks for the rain away wishes! Less than 24 hours until I am on the plane!!!

Megan~ congrats on your upcoming wedding! I'll also do a no-rain dance for you. Have a safe trip and can't wait to hear about the big day.

It rained on our wedding day, just after the ceremony we did the staged departure, then went back for photos. On our way out to the limo to ride to the reception we had a shower. The pictures are really cute - our EM provided a huge umbrella. One of the pictures is DH and I under it kissing just before we got into the limo to ride away. I thought it was really cute.

Oh, and as for luck... so far we've been very lucky. Seven and a half years later he still makes my heart skip a beat and we haven't missed a year back at WDW yet to celebrate. 2 DDs, 2 & 4 years old, and our 3rd (don't know if it's a boy or girl yet!!) is due in late December.
