I am so tired. We had a Swim Meet on Thursday and we got one event in before the thunder rolled in. We had to reschedule the meet. Normally we reschedule for the next day but we had a conflict so had to reschedule for Wed. this week. We had a meet tonight and got in about 20 events before the thunder and lightning came. After waiting about an hour we had to just call it a night and reschedule for. . . yep, tomorrow night. So now we did all the prep and clean up for the meet tonight, and have to do it again tomorrow and Wed. And of course there are no guarantees that the weather will cooperate so we could be rained out again.
The kids are tired. The parents are tired. We only have 6 meets and we can't even get one in so far! The good news is that our Concessions Stand is making a lot of money, which we really need! But our Concessions person is exhausted We could use a few nights of clear weather-- the kids should be the only ones wet, not us parents that are cleaning up in the rain!
