Has anyone seen cheap rain ponchos anywhere (on the UK high street)? I've had a look in Poundland but they don't have any at the moment.

We go in just over four weeks so I need to start preparing! :santa:

Ebay have some at the moment - you do pay postage which makes it slightly more, but some sellers have them for 50p each plus postage, so not a fortune.

On my list to do as well.... Really need to get more organised! :lmao:

also try Tesco (in their car accessories aisle etc) and Asda. I picked up a pack of one poncho and one tin-foil-type blanket from Tesco for less than £1 last time I bought them there.

Will you use ponchos though, in November? I would have thought that your winter coats and hats would keep you dry? The only time we've used ponchos at DLP was in May/June when it was warm but torrential rain.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm hoping I won't need them but I want to take some just in case of a downpour. My coat is a woolly duffel coat and I don't want it to get damp and not be able to dry it.

Oh definitely take them. We got drowned on our xmas trip last year - dec 8th to 12th.
As you say, a lot of the winter coats are not actually waterproof. I saw loads of people with ponchos on over their winter woolies.
