Rain forest cafe vs. T-rex

We have 2 boys ages 4 & 8....We are definitely going to have at least one oop restaurant during our trip in June 2009....I would like some feedback as to which one of these do you think the boys would enjoy more....Thanks!!!

My vote would be for T-Rex.

We are doing both in July...We have to fill in with just a couple of OOP meals and we decided on these because our boys love the RFC and they are really in to dinosours...We have not been to T-Rex...So we are doing both

My DS9 and DS11 have been going to RFC for years. (the first time at age 2, my DS-now-9 cried buried his head in my shoulder the whole time-we were seated right in front of the gorillas, and all he kept saying was "mommy, no no wanna see the monkeys".) We went to T-Rex last trip and now they only want to go there. It is pretty cool.

I think little boys would enjoy T-Rex more. We were just there last week and my 9 year old D loved it. She really likes Rainforest Cafe also, but she definitely preferred T-Rex.

During our Oct trip, we did both with DS3 and DS6. They preferred TRex. DS3 was afraid of all the gorillas, we were seated right next to them and they were very active. We rushed our meal to get out of there quicker. I think he would have been OK if we were seated near the elephants. TRex was really cool and they loved walking around seeing all the cool decorations. The food is just average in both places. Both of them have incredible theming.

i think the themeing is better at T.REX, I WASN'T OVERLY IMPRESSED WITH rfc
