We went to DL in Feb 2010 when huge rainstorms were pounding the region. We didn't do rainboots because I honestly thought they would be worse than wet feet.
We are going again in Feb 2012 and I just bought Tote's rubber overshoes for workboots. Then I can wear my runners and Crocs and have dry feet.
Has anyone tried this before? Are they heavy?
We loved DL in the rain. The off season crowds were non existant.:cloud9:

I don't anything about the Tote's rubber shoes....but, I love that you called your tennis shoes "runners"!

So cute!

I'm not sure I would do standard rain boots, because they aren't too comfortable to walk in for long times. But if you get pricier ones they will have better soles.

I like sandals in rain. They don't absorb water and the straps dry quickly. This may not work for everyone but to me it's warm enough for sandals all winter in Anaheim.

Especially since I don't run or play tennis:rotfl2:
Do you call them sneakers in the US or just tennis shoes?

These overshoes were less $15.00 a pair and I can change out my shoes and still be waterproof....I hope:laughing:

Strictly called tennis shoes. Unless you're upto sneaky business, then sneakers is acceptable.

I was at the parks for the 4 days of rain this past December and wore my FitFlops the entire time. I couldn't have been happier! My feet were super comfy and they were easy to dry :)

I agree with you on the rain. Even during the very busy Holiday Season, it kept the crowds away and my girls had a fantastic time puddle jumping. I told my hubby I didn't want to go back unless it WAS raining :goodvibes

Those overshoes sound like a good idea. You'll have to report back on how you liked them if you get a chance to try them out.

I wear Crocs or Tevas in the rain. Bare feet and sandals dry fast...... socks and sneaks take forever. As we all know.
