Rain? Do you still go?

I will always go unless I hear it's going to be a total washout, in Florida 60% means you're likely to get some cloudy weather with the possibilty of a shower or two.If people didn't go when it says 60% chance of rain, summers at Disney would mean totally empty parks,the normal Florida summer day is 40%-60% chance of rain.Winter is the nicer time of year since it doesn't rain that much and you get cooler temperatures.A 60% chance means bring a poncho and keep an eye in the sky.

We have been lucky enough to miss all rain (with a only a 15-20 min shower once or twice) on every visit (knocking on wood, and anything else I can find)- But we wouldn't let it stop us! Always have the poncho handy!

GO and enjoy!! My 6 yo favorite souveigner from DW is her rain poncho!!
We went 3 year ago in June and it rained ALOT everyday. We still had a great time!!

GO GO GO when it rains!!!!! Slap on a poncho and have a blast!!! Skip through the puddles, try to catch raindrops in between rides, whatever, but GO!!! Lots of people head out of the parks when it rains and you can just walk on rides. We love it when it rains!!!! Rained last year during an E-night and we had the place to OURSELVES!!!!!! Rode Pooh, Peter Pan, Snow White, and Space Mountain NUMEROUS times in 2 hours. It was heaven!!

We always go in the rain-- scares people off sometimes and the crowds are lighter. Plus, it usually doesn't rain ALL day

I agree that rain should not change your plans but I disagree with the poncho's.

We took them on our trip and they are HOT HOT HOT. We wore them only long enough to buy some of the small umbrellas. THATS the way to go!!

They are small enough to fit in the pocket of cargo pants when it stops and you will get LOTS of second, third and forth looks from the ladies as you walk around

i assume you're going soon since you've seen a forecast...i saw 60% chance of showers for next sun, 1/29 - if that's what you're looking at, that's too far away IMO. it will likely change & probably for the better. i'm going tues-sat & i've been watching the weather for weeks every day & have noticed a change up to the minute. anyway, don't worry about the rain if you have your ponchos & stroller cover....that's what we'll be bringing too.

I checked into my hotel last December and heard the forecast of rain, rain, rain all that day and into the next. And a heavy rain at that. So I decided to take a short detour on my way to the parks that afternoon. I went to the dollar tree and picked up an umbrella. It was the best $1 I ever spent! I also had a poncho and with both of them I was quite comfortable. I wouldn't let the rain stop me as long as I was prepared.

I'd go. We've had a lot of fun at the parks in the rain.

If it's really so bad that you don't want to go, you can always find something to do at a resort and perhaps upgrade your ticket to a 10-day non-expiring ticket for your next visit or two. I doubt it'll be that bad, though. You can always duck into an indoor attraction to ride out a 20-minute shower.

However, if you have 3 plus days of rain...GO HOME
