I find all types of weather interesting, if they don’t last very long and if I’m not too cold. There were times when I enjoyed watching a heavy downpour from an open front pouch or from an open garage and I’ve fantasized walking nude in a light warm sun shower. I like clouds, heavy dark angry clouds full of rain, as well as high, wispy, and feathery clouds, white puffy clouds that seem happy, and clear blue sky with a bright yellow sun. Then with the clouds I like Donna and Blitzen (Thunder and Lightning) a bit scary and wind. Snow that comes down in white puffs is pretty, as is the new formed white snow on the ground. Ice on tree branches can be beautiful, glowing from the light behind them and even the mysterious fog, if I’m not driving. I know the science behind weather, but I like to think of it being caused by fairy-like beings or by Gaia. The clouds being the home of Sylphids “Rows and floes of angel hair/ And ice cream castles in the air/ And feathered canyons everywhere” or Daughters of the Sky. I live on a large lake that looks like an ocean with powerful waves, and I imagine there are kind undines or mermaids beneath the water except when the water gets too rough. The night can be enjoyable, with the stars and moon above or when I am driving in the dark imagining being in an underground city. Once I got up at 2 in the morning and walked around my dark neighborhood just for the fun of it. Then there are butterflies in the summer, the falling leaves in the Fall. “There Is Almost Nothing That Has Such A Keen Sense Of Fun As A Fallen Leaf” of cause the snow fairies in the Winter and the Daisies in the Spring. I’ve never been in a hurricane or tornado or any kind of dangerous weather so I probably would not like that.
Tom,
