Anybody have any experience with Raglan Road. We are planning a dinner for 27 there next week and was wondering about other people's experiences

It is one of my family's favorite restaurants! Good food, good service, good atmosphere!

Hope you enjoy your meal.

Are you really a party of 27? Now that's a Grand Gathering!

Not to be too negative but....3 years ago we ate there and loved it, last year we ate there and it was so bad we won't be going back. I had the chicken pie which was still cold inside and basically a frozen chicken pot pie, DH had the Shepherd's pie which he used to love but now is made with a tomato base which he didn't care for. Add to that the snippy, inattentive waitress and we wished we'd used our dining credits elsewhere. Maybe we
just caught it on an 'off' night.

We dined there in the beginning of November 2009, and had a great meal there. Many different kinds of Beer. I'd eat there again.

We ate there Oct. 2009 it was very good.:thumbsup2

We were there in December 2009 and for the most part really enjoyed our meal. I would go back just for the scallops. Yummmmmy.

There is my review and some pictures on my blog (link in my signature) under restaurant reviews on the right side of the page. Just scroll down to Raglan Road.

Hope this helps some. :)

We loved it, best French fries I have ever had anywhere. I didn't order fries, i go the It's not bleeding chowder, but I couldn't help, but eat a few of the kids b/c they were so good. I shared my desert to make up for it.

We ate there in December. It was a great meal, I had the bread pudding for dessert. OMG it was the best ever. I had wished I didn't eat dinner so I could finish all of it.

We went on our arrival evening one trip because we hadn't made ADRs and they were taking walk-ins. We weren't sure what to expect and asked the server for recommendations. She told us what were the more popular dishes and we loved everything she pointed out! Our girls still talk about going there, with the dancers and yummy appetizers!

We ate there for the first time last August and thought it was excellent. We will be returning again this year. We really liked the bread pudding although we thought it wasn't quite as good as 'Ohana's. Close though.:thumbsup2

We love Raglan Road (been three times for meals, once for brews and B&B Pudding), but I think some of the dishes depend on your tastes. I grew up on Shepherds Pie, and it certainly sounded great, but it was relatively bland.

Our first time, I got the Heavenly Ham (which has been on and off the menu). What came out looked dry and leathery - but looks WERE deceiving - it was incredibly tender and tasty. The pork was very good as well.

And the Bread and Butter Pudding is a MUST HAVE - but have in another night...its too much after a meal...think of it as layers of french toast with some raisins, and caramel and vanilla sauces...

Had a convention in Orlando at Marriott World Center and one of the sponsor receptions was at Ragland Road. It was really outstanding! I was quite surprised. I'd never been there or had even thought about going there. Everytime I'd eaten at DTD before I gone to House of Blues, Rainforest Cafe or Bongos (and then added T-Rex on our family trip last spring) and had never considered Raglan Road. I'd definitely go back.

Went last Sep and enjoyed it but didnt love it. The entertainment was fun but it gets really, really loud in there so dont plan on having much of a conversation. Also we had terrible service, the entire meal for two took just under three hours! Also, some dishes were hit or miss. Loved the salt and pepper calamari, enjoyed the soda bread and loved the bread and butter pudding (when it finally showed up). I wouldnt worry about having a bad time or a terrible meal here though.

we loved it! the food was delicious and the entertainment was great.. just make sure you request that you're in the room with the entertainment if possible so you can see the band play. When we went we were stuck in a random corner and couldn't see the band and dancers and we were a little dissappointed..

wow, thank you for all your comments. We can't wait to go next week. We are celebrating a 40th birthday for one of friends. The whole group consists of 6 families that just happen to be going at the same time.
