Can someon tell me what time the entertainment starts and is it appropriate for young children (7, 5, and 3)?

Not sure what time the entertainment starts, but it is definitely kid friendly. Wonderful Irish folk singers and a great Irish dancer, who gets up on a special bar/table to dance, so most everyone can see.

One thing though, if you are seated close to the music, it is very loud, so if your dear ones aren't very fond of loud music (like mine ), I suggest you pack some earplugs!

Otherwise, it was one of our very best meal experiences and we're going back in October! It was my DH's one and only dining request! Since he's paying, I figure I can let him pick at least one of the restaurants (especially, since it's one of my favorites, too! )

My neighbors RAVED about this place. They were lucky enough to get in as a walk-up and knowing nothing at all about it except that they were hungry. They said it was PHENOMENAL.

We loved Raglan Road and we will be going back in October. The food was delicious,the service was outstanding and the entertainment was great. It was one of our best evenings.

The band and Irish Step dancer begin entertaining at 9 PM

I am so glad you posted this. I posted about RR about 2 weeks ago and not a lot was positive. I was disappointed. After reading this, I cancelled my Les Chef ressie in France for this. It will be our first night there and our dinner after a plane, walking around a park, and all. My DD's want to go but I was hesitant. I feel much better now. Thanks. The meatballs and dog poop were way too funny on the trip report that wasn't so pretty. Thanks for the good laugh!!!

THIS is my favorite WDW restaurant! The food is sooo good. I have my own regiment when I go..

Love Raglan Road!!! It's a fun place, and we've never had a bad meal here. We did have bad service in January (server treated us like terribly!), but I think she's gone now. I was back in April, and we had the best service and food again!! I agree with the earlier poster about the sheppard's pie. I had hesitated for a while because it's a mix of beef and lamb, and I am not a big fan of lamb. But you can't really taste lamb, and it's so yummy!

Tiny hint here - you can make ressies through Disney or you can go onto Open Table and make them. Even when ADRs seem to be gone for the most popular dining times through Disney, Opentable has tables available still...

We will be in DTD in Nov for a wedding. We won't arrive until after 9pm. Can you go to RR just for drinks & to listen to the music? How late are they open? Are there any late night bars/lounges in the DTD area? Thx

Yes, you can go to RR after 9 for drinks and music. You can also order food up until 10pm in the dining room and maybe even later from the bar.
