Raglan Road Questions

My family really enjoyed the Irish Dancers at Raglan Road a few years ago and they asked if we can do it again this trip. I just wanted to check on a few things before I book to make sure I do this right (would hate to disappoint them!):

1) Are there still Irish Dancers nightly? Their website is a little confusing. I see show times for bands and then at the top it also mentions the dancers, so I just want to make sure. Can anyone who's been recently confirm?

2) They use to perform every hour on the hour but I'm guessing that's not the case anymore since the website says they start at 4:30. Does anyone know if there's a schedule to when they come out to dance? I'd hate to book a meal time between dances and miss the show or most of the show.

3) Many years ago, I was told to book a table maybe 15-20 minutes early and tell them we were willing to wait for a view of the stage when I checked in. Does that strategy still apply?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Our experience the past two trips we were there was a dinner. There was a band and then dancers mixed in. It was super fun

We were just there in April. Dancers galore! Just great fun. We were not by the stage, but dancers came to the room we were in, so we didn't miss being close to the stage. We were there for dinner and did not have to wait long. I don't know if there was a 'schedule' for dancers, but during our dinner, we saw two full sets and part of another when we first arrived. I suppose if you told them you were willing to wait, they'd consider it. Why not? It can't hurt to ask.

1. Yes.

2. There is a rotating schedule of dancers and then musicians on the main stage. I don't know the duration of either but in an hour's meal service you'll probably get a full set of both.

3. I always ask for a table when I check in for the "main" room close to the stage and it does most times require a wait of 15-30 minutes. But I know that in advance and it's always been worth it.

One time, I was close enough to reach out and touch the center dancer's table.

It's pretty awesome.

We've eaten there 5-6X. Got stuck in a side room ONCE and although the dancers came through there to visit diners, could not see the whole show from where we were seated. About half the time we have been either very close to the stage or the center dance table.

So now ALWAYS - ask for a center room table and wait for it - it's worth it.

PS - RR often posts a music schedule for the patio outside which does not feature dancers at all. But take my advice above and enjoy the music/dance in the main dining room.

I just wanted to add I tried to get this reservation at my 60 days but there was nothing available for the entire length of our vacation. I knew that couldn’t be right - but I was able to get it through open table without a problem.
