Raglan Road Irish Pub

I think this will be interesting to see when it opens and how fast they can kick it in gear.
We ate at Fulton's last Saturday evening. And our table just happened to be on the upper level looking into the Irish Pub area.

There were no outside walls for the pub, except the yellow board insulation type stuff and metal studs. The inside looked to be completely barren. Which makes sense since there were no doors or windows, just the open gaps.

Considering this is almost mid August, it will be interesting. By the looks last weekend I would have guessed maybe Thnaksgiving or Christmas as an opening.

Yea, I had mentioned this on another thread, that we were there in June, and it did not look any where near done. The yellow stuff and the aluminium studs were not yet in place at that time, so I guess they are moving ahead.
PS: Did you have the crab and lobster bisque at Fulton's? Great stuff!

I am really pleased we bought DVC at Saratoga Springs Resort now as we can walk (or sway as the case may be) easily from DTD back to our villa!!!!

Will have to wait until October 06 so hope it will be worth the wait.

Originally Raglan Road was suppose to open on 9/16/05. That's not gonna happen. It'll be around 10/1/05, give or take a few days. I'll be one of the bartenders there and our training starts on the 23rd, but the training is for a little over a week. RR is suppose to open immediately after training. They called me last Friday and told me this, so this is from the horse's mouth...or maybe the mouse's mouth. :hourglass

wonderful to hear from you Jack. You must let us know what it is like. I am already trying to sort out what days to visit when we are over in 2006. Will children be allowed in? Can you make an ADR?

Susan

I don't know about an ADR there, but I'll find out soon and post it. As far as children, yes, they're permitted in there, but like most places, they have to be accompanied by an adult at all times. :shamrock:

Thanks Jack

We are two families made up of me and my best friend from London. My husband from Scotland and her husband from Ireland and our children who we would love to take with us when we visit. Can't wait to see you.

Sounds good. I actually bartended in London (in Bloomsbury area) and in Brentwood (at the White Hart) out in Essex for a couple of years. It was the best time of my life. I'd love to find a bartending gig there again, one can only hope.

By the way--got on that weblink--they had no menu or beer list, which is what I was looking for.
