Can anyone tell me how big the shuttle buses are that carry people to the port? We have 10 in our group and I'm wondering how many others will be on the same bus. If it's just us, I'm hoping we can go as soon as we get on. Can anyone who used the shuttle lately tell me how orderly the process was? Do they check off your names as you board and chaeck your reservation time? Thanks.

The shuttle bus is quite large (40 - 50 people?). It has a trailor where all the luggage goes. You must make a reservation for the shuttle. Depending on how you booked you room reservation, you may be able to book the shuttle now. Otherwise, you book when you check in. The early times book first, so you should call the Radisson to see if you can reserve a shuttle now.

There was a man checking names against the reservation list. We were on the 10:30 shuttle, but there was room on an earlier shuttle (which was mostly another cruise line) and we got on it. If you are desperate to get to the port early, and you can't get an early reservation, show up and wait. You might get lucky.

Finally, don't forget to tip. I watched the guys doing the loading, and they definitely deserve something extra.

Thanks for the info. I thought I had read that they were upgrading to larger shuttles. We have a 10:30 booked for our group of twelve.

How far in advance can you book these shuttles? What is the difference in the room reservations as to being able to book now or not? Just wondering. :)

Funny you should mention this. I am not a huge fan of tipping, but I do tip. When we took the shuttle we also noticed that they sure did work and they were so nice. But nobody tipped them. We were towards the end of the unloading the luggage line and we were the only ones to tip them. Others saw us tip and they then tipped. I just thought it was strange.

the shuttle bus from the radisson is a minivan and a 12-16 passanger full size van. they should have 2 or 3 vans since the radisson has become very popular lately. you shouldn't have too many problems i won't think. can't wait to see you there at the radisson sue.:yo-yo: ::yes:: :hyper:

We are staying at the Radisson for our 10/30 cruise. We booked a 10:00 Shuttle time about 2 months ago . I would book your reservation when you book your room. When we bookedour room the 10:30 and 11:00 shuttle slot was already filled.
