Just back from a one week stay at the Radisson Resort Parkway and thought I'd offer my 2cents.
The resort has a GREAT pool area. The large central pool has a nice waterfall and a decent waterslide. There is also a smaller "quiet pool" and a Very Nice Hot Tub/Jacuzzi that also has a waterfall! We Loved the Pool!!!
The rooms were average hotel rooms. Well kept, but nothing special. (We have stayed in nicer rooms at Wyndham's and Hyatt's). We stayed in building 4000 on the 7th floor overlooking the pool. The inteior hallways are garrishly colored reds and blues and gold. One thing that bothered us was the very strong smell of cleaning solution that permeated this buildings hallways.
The rooms themselves were not bad but the hallways were not pleasant.
As far as location, it is extemely close to WDW. Only5-10 minutes (by car) to Animal Kingdom, 20 minutes to Magic Kingdom with everything else somewhere in between. It is also 1 block away from a Publix grocery store where you can get food/toiletries etc. for very reasonable prices. There is a also a Walgreen's pharmacy right across the street from Publix.
The only real negative I have about this place is that the BEDS were as HARD as the FLOOR!!!! We actually asked to be moved to another room after the first night because we didn't sleep at all that first night because the bed was honestly as hard as the floor!!! The second room they gave us was only slightly better. I had asked if they had any rooms with newer matresses and I was told they were all replaced at the same time. So we settled for the second room but sleeping was restless all week. (even though we asked for 4 extra pillows to soften things up a bit.) I don't know if it is all the beds in the place or just king size beds (which we had), but I would not stay there again just for that reason alone.
The Hotel's amenities and the location are more than worth the price we paid, but the real reason you need a hotel room for is to sleep well and in that respect, the beds were sorely lacking.
just my 2 cents...
