Radisson Parkway??? Anyone stay recently????

Has anyone recently stayed at the Radisson Parkway????
We are booked there for Sept. Just would like to see how people like it...its not usually mentioned much on these threads...
I would particularly like to find out some info on their shuttle service to the parks:
I have heard you sign up and get a ticket or something the day prior....does this mean you have guaranteed seating??????

If the first shuttle leaves at 8:30am how early should you be out front waiting???

Is there usually a line?????

Any trouble getting back to the hotel after the parks close????

I have heard about the terrible crowdedness of some of these shuttles but we are going in late sept so hopefully it won't be as crowded.

All the threads I have read usually state no one has tried the shuttle...they all have their own car.

Please if anyone has used them any info would be appreciated.

love the resort and have stayed many times. However the shuttle service is less than woinderfull. They make you sign up in advance and the last I remember is that they only ran 2 shuttles to the parks in the morning and 2 home at night not very accomodating for when you want to come and go. I wouldnt personally rely on the shuttle service but the hotel itself is great.

I agree with eccflash. The resort itself is beautiful but the shuttle stinks. We wound up taking a cab back every night. While we were there last December you didn't have to sign up so this must be new, but I didn't like being dumped at TTC. Rent a car, You'd be better off. We stayed there because DH is Radisson employee and we get great rates at Radisson Hotels, but after spending so many years at DXL we're just spoiled. We are trying the Radisson Lake Buena Vista this year because it's closer than the Parkway, but something tells me next year we'll be back on property.

Hi -

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. We stayed from 5/31 -6/2 with a "go" package with full breakfast for $79 a night. We had a pool view room on the 4th floor (my trip report is a few pages back on this board). The pools and decor were lovely. The beds were doubles, which were a little small, however the bathroom was brand new marble tile.

The food court/pizza hut had wonderful food, and the buffet each morning was delicious.

We rented a car, and I couldn't recommend the shuttle since we didn't take it either. I did see a line in the mornings. Although you're close to many things on 192, i'd feel isolated with no car. The shuttle was limited, 2 trips in the AM and 2 back.
