Radisson Barcello

I was wondering if anyone had stayed at the Radisson Barcello on International Drive as we are thinking of booking it for September. Have read mixed reports and at the moment are at the should we shouldn't we stage.

We are booked for the Barcelo in October, and yes the reports are very mixed indeed apart from the Tower block which are all positive but it is an upgrade.

I have extreme allergies to dust and dust mite which can very easily turn a holiday into a complete nightmare (Liek one i took in a cottage in Wales a couple of years back) and have been in contact with the manager Andy on quite a number of occasions. He offered me a v good deal for the upgrade but assured me the standards shouldnt disappoint. He will personally see that our room will have special attention paid to it in for cleaning and would like to personally meet me after our arrival to explain what they have done (cant see him being there 8.45 Saturday Night but we will see)
I am encouraged by the conversations we had but obviously all is yet to be seen. I really dont think he wants to deal with me with a full outbreak of sneezing and chest problems so i am not suprised they will clean it good.

There are much better and much worse but i was prepared to go for this due to its very good location.

As Cochise said, as long as you're in the tower rooms you'll have a brilliant stay there. I've stayed in the tower rooms twice and cannot fault them in any way (brilliant location also) but the second time was after an upgrade from frankly a disgraceful non- tower room which was dirty, old and had wires loose from fittings etc.
