here it is hot off the press so to speak. i just got off the phone with the manager at the radisson at the port and she said to me that the internet price of $85 for a room the is a hidding perk. you dont need to pay the $109 or higher price for free parking. she also informed me that the internet price with free parking is going to be going up in the near future. the demand for the parking is getting more and more. amd they know DCL cruisers pay $30,$40 and $70 for parking and she said they were thinking of charging and extra $35-40 for the parking once the cruise ship business picks up. so FYI get the room now on line and get the $85 free parking and pick up and return from DCL terminal now before the price goes up. if booked on line its a set price that cant go up since you will pay in advance with only a credit card. thanks

I have a reservation at the Radisson for November, but I gave them my credit card number to hold, not pay for the room. Did you pay for your room in advance?

yes we paid in advance.but at least its a bill out of the way. if its booked online at the radisson website. other websites you wont get the free parking at least as i was told by the manager.

KY- Have you stayed at the Raddison before? I am debating staying at MCO Thurs. night when we land, renting a car Fri and going to the hotel we'll be at for Fri. night before the cruise. The wrinkle is I would like to spend the day at Cape Canaveral with my kids, and maybe we should pick a hotel there. Is the Raddison still a good option for this? I was thinking of booking a little later, but if the Raddison's the place, why not grab that good rate. Thanks for all your information!

WOW Denise, you have already booked for our cruise??? You are on top of things! LOL You are making me look bad! ;)

The Radisson is nice...we stayed there several times on a $59.00 rate.

This time I booked on Priceline and got the Doubletree Resort in Cocoa Beach for only $39.00 per night and it includes cocktail reception in the evening and breakfast in the morning. It is only for 1 night so I can't imagine it being that terrible......the Doubletree website has the room listed at $98.00 per night.

Double Tree has those great fresh baked cookies they are known for.... Another bonus for you! A truly great deal for $39!

We drove by the hotel. It looked very nice!

Not sure. Just plugged in my dates (11/26-27) with a AAA rate and it came up $85 for a deluxe room. Somewhere near the bottom of the rates it will say something like show all rates. Click on that and see if it comes up.

John - did you get the manager's name by any chance? Just want to make sure that when we get there, we do get that free parking!!

Thanks!
