Radisson at Port

I booked the Radisson for next October using the Florribean Getaway Rate and it was $99. Last October I was to get the FALL rate and it was only $59 so I plan on watching for that code to be extended and then switch is available.

One comment about the hotel, when we stayed last year I had asked for a crib for my 16 month DS. I was trying to save on space in our van so we did not bring our own since DCL provides a Graco pack N play similar to the one I own. The crib the Raddison provided was awful. It was the 1960's style wood narrow crib. It was awful and old. He was too big for it and could not turn over and it creaked.

I learned a lesson not to assume every nice hotel now days provides a pack n play. We travel a lot and never have had this happen.

So if you need a crib call the hotel direct and ask what they are using this year or take your own

We also enjoyed our stay at the Radisson in July 01 and booked again for our upcoming cruise in July. I believe we have the King Suite Whirlpool for $109 with our AAA membership otherwise it was $119. We liked to see some of those familiar faces on ship throughout the week that were also staying at the Radisson.

JUST A REMINDER--When you leave your car at the Radisson they direct you to park in any of the areas outside the gated lot, so you are parking in an unsecured area. ALSO, as others have mentioned getting back to the Radisson can involve a lengthy wait. On our 04/11/02 cruise we parked two cars at the Radisson and shuttled over. When returned the line was long in the shuttle pick up area; after waiting about 30 minutes DH notices the taxis literally right there so we taxi'd back to the Radisson for $5 for two of us to pick up the cars and return. On our 1/2/03 cruise we parked 3 cars at the Radisson and one at the port. The drivers debarked while others picked up luggage, rode back to the Radisson, picked up the other cars and returned to pick up the 18 members in our party. We saved approx $150 in parking fees--$10 per day to park at the port.
