http://m.disneyland.go.com/disneys-california-adventure/radiator-springs-racers/ Ok so I am on my cell phone and I go to Disneyland mobile site and it says height requirments for RSR is 40 inches. I click on fullsite and it shows still nothing for the height requirment. I am not good at attaching pages and stuff like that but I think the link is above. So again I ask what the flunk is going on? I was told. 48 inches over phone , mobile site says 40 fullsite says nothing? Stuff like this is annoying. Can someone confirm they see same thing. .

Great! Thanks for finding that information. The link works, and now people can clearly see evidence of Disney stating 40" as the requirement. In an attempt to provide some clarification in the very long thread about RSR, I've added an image from the linked page.

I read somewhere ( it has been a few weeks so I have no idea where I read it) that the requirement would be 42 inches.:confused3 I am as confused as you are. I am hoping they do not stick with 48 inches because my DD5 really wants to ride!

Your welcome, but any idea why its not on there full site. P.S. I was very determined to get some real answers.

Perhaps this is just a little more of if you watch a pot to boil....I'd suggest looking again on June 10th or so. Are you deciding whether to go on June 15th? I still don't understand why it is so essential to get to the bottom of this immediately.

First, THANKS for posting the link above! :goodvibes It does help clarify the issue on the height requirement at RSR. I can't remember if it was you but I responded to a question like this in another thread. DLR/DCA's website is notorious for being the last place in the universe to have up-to-date information in their calendar or facts for new attractions. I say their speed in communication often rhymes with TRUCKS. :lmao: :ssst:

I wouldn't put any merit into the lack of information on DL/DCA's website and would feel pretty confident the height requirement on the mobile site is accurate. If they are keeping with their usual communication standards, then they just haven't gotten around to updating their website yet.

Because its fun. What migjt be essential for you might not be for me. Who cares. There Disney Boards and I can make an argument that none of this info anywhere is essential, but I wont. Whats the big deal that I care about this so much.

I see no problem in starting a new thread... It's information significant enough to warrant it's own thread rather than predicate upon an thread started because of misinformed CM's! :thumbsup2

Personally, I wouldn't plan on anything or promise anything to children until there is a final announcement from Disney, or until CL actually opens. Disney has proven time and time again that there are inconsistencies in information getting out, and not even the website has always been entirely accurate. I wouldn't put any stock in any of the requirements right now.

OP, you are not going to get what you want from Disney until they are ready to make it official, if you had been on the this board for a while you may have realized that. It is your time to beat it to death, trust me we would like to help. Become a Disney stock holder, go to the meetings and express your discontent.

It is what it is....when you get there you either can ride it or you can't...pretty simple.:)

I have just told my kids that some rides they will be able to ride and some not. They are lucky to be going to Disney, so one ride is not the end of the world. Put it in perspective. Not all kids get to go.

Blackjackdelta doesn't Disney putting it on there mobile site make it official enough. Are you going to tell me that information is wrong also. How much more official can you get if its on there own website.

I am doing this from a phone so bear with me....Past experience with Disneys website has not been a good one...I never have and never will trust the information until I see it reported from someone who has seen the final postings or has been there to ride the ride. They have NEVER been the most reliable and I trust they will never be.
I go to shareholder meetings and express my discontent thru their due process but I am a small voice and in their corporate minds my issues are not theirs, but at least I get to say what I want.

Many people come to this board with their concerns and we like to try and we try to help, I have to drive 2400 miles to take a weeks vacation in SoCal and have learned over time that there are things I can not change. I have been going since 1955 and there was not instant communication process. We did what was there an enjoyed the opportunity. Read a newspaper and believe what you wish and then look a little later and see the numerous things that were mis-reported.

If it upsets you because you can not get a final answer, then there is no answer to your delimma..we all will know when Disney sends a press release that is final or we will hear from those that are there or live close by. I have learned not to trust anything that comes out from any source unless I can verify the source.

We would like to help but Windmills are no longer a challenge for me. Best of luck in you quest.

As has been pointed out - Disney's website has not always been accurate with everything in the past. The fact that this is only showing on the mobile site and not on the regular site is an inconsistency that would not give me the confidence to tell my child they'd definitely be able to ride this ride if they are only 40".

Until opening day, I would not count on anything. DOSH could change the height requirement at any time if they wanted to. You are trying to view your birthday present two weeks before you are supposed to open it. When CarsLand opens, we will know. Until then, I would not count anything as final.

Thankyou Blackjackdelta for explaining yourself. I will just keep my fingers crossed.

I am Jack...it is the best we all can do and hope that it swings the way everyone wants, as stated we are all here to help as best as we can. there are huge number of experts on this board that are willing to pass their knowledge on to others to benefit families and posters. I still think it will be 48" but I am not in the know..have a great day.

Yes! :thumbsup2 As we say in my family, "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit."
