I have to be honest.
I went to my grandmas yesterday and we took naps in afternoon. I slept for 2 hours while she was awake and when I woke up she took a nap for like 2 and a half hours so I sat and watched 3 episodes of wizards of waverly place and 2 episodes of Jonas. I actually do like both of those shows. lol. Those are the only ones though.

When people think our opinions are lesser because of our age... suck it up, we know what we're talking about.

My mom used to tell me when we got in fights that I didn't know what I was talking about whenever we talked about anything.

She tells me that she knows way more than me about health.
Okay, really? I've been studying this stuff for a year and a half, and just because she's older doesn't mean she knows more.

I wrote an article for our newspaper about how teenagers know a lot more then adults think they do. Especially about politics and their views on topics. Seriously, our class debates about politics in class all the time.

I was thinking yesterday about what life would be like if I was a slacker.
It would be easier.

When I mess up on one assignment my teacher is like "OMGGGG. F. F. F. I can't believe you forgot!!! UGH, you're worthless! I count on you!"

Exactly!

We have debates at school, we could easily keep up with what adults are also talking about. I hate when an adult asserts their dominance not because of age or experience, but because they "know more than we do". (And I have heard several of my class officer teachers say something similar).

I think there's some perception that all teens do is party, drink, and rebel, and there is some truth to that in some cases. But most of us won't jump into an argument or say something unless we know what we're talking about.

My newspaper teacher is one that knows we know a lot. I mean, we're in newspaper, current events, topics. She said it's a shame they think we're dumb becuase we're teenagers.

Some friends were debating about abortion, the election, death penalty, Obama's education speech, and other things I can't remember. Our of my 6 friends. 2 are agnostic, 4 are christian, 2 are against the death penalty and abortion, 2 are against abortion but for the death penalty, 2 are pro choice, and believe in the death penalty. 2 hate Obama, 4 like him. All 6 are independent, all 6 are moderates, jeez.

Seriously. Our school has crazy amounts of opinions. We know what we believe in and what we're talking about. Nobody can change either ones opinion either, it's not like we go with the last thing somebody told us.
