lol Lakeside floods too but it's not mentioned much in the book because everyone was evacuated from there due to the risks. Nobody was evacuated from Bluewater because they thought it would be safe. Oh, and it's set at Xmas time as well. READ IT! It's by Richard Doyle.

Eek! Those kind of books scare me. T'is a little too-close to home. And PHEW. If everyone is evacuated from Lakeside that is good for me, I live on the same road as Lakeside, so I am ALIVE, theoretically(can't spell today).

I'll probably read it and then curl up in my wardrobe screaming "WHY GOD?! WHY!!!"
