Confusingly, his new assistant is the girl who has something put into her ear and controls something or other. But in the 3rd series, she plays that girl's cousin

Oh and Catherine Tate is the new new assistant, but Martha (series 3 assistant) comes later into the series and Rose is back for the last few episodes :-D
