Although my mom did get mad when I offered to pay 12 for something for school...I never understand that.
I'd be happy if my child takes responsibility and offers to pay. Although I wouldn't want them to pay it.

That is all she needs to know. That the exfriend was involved. Then just let the police do their job and figure out who stabbed and who did the rest. The police are good at getting information like that out of ppl. That is their job.
