Can you get a villa at HHI for cash or only points? If you can do cash
then where can I find the info on rates -- I can't seem to find that anywhere? :confused3

THANKS

Hello - We are going in three weeks using points. However, our last night is a Saturday, and I chose to pay cash for that night to save oodles of points. The DVC members rate for a 2 BR villa is $310. Sandie

Rack rates for summer are:

$350 for a 1BR in summer. I got a discount from DVC of $262.50 for a 1BR cash
ressie on Friday,Saturday. You must add tax to this, but that is what I got, and this is for July..

Aren't the rate actually listed anywhere? I couldn't even find any on Disney's own website. No luck with expedia either. :Pinkbounc

I am a new DVC member at SS. our points are not available until August but we are planning a trip in early June. From reading the posts it appears you can reserve with points for some nights and pay cash for others, and I am assuming, stay in the same room. Is that correct?

What is "AP"? Is that included with DVC membership? I don't recall hearing about it before.

I have occasionally used both points and cash to book a trip. Just tell Member Services that is what you want to do. They will link the reservations and you will stay in the same room. We get a good discount when paying cash at the DVC resorts. I think that is a nice perk!

AP is annual pass - a type of WDW ticket good for one year from the time you activate this type pass. As DVC members we get a $100 discount. This is a relatively new perk. Sandie
