We went to our fave local running store to check out the RaceReady stuff today (and get more BodyGlide!). They happened to have a men's singlet in medium, so I bought it for comparison to our current WISH shirts. Jeff graciously consented to being our sportswear model for the day...I did have to promise he could be Mr. January in the WISH team calendar
He felt it ran pretty true to size. He generally wears a medium shirt and felt this medium was appropriate. I tried it on as well, arms are cut a little low, but they do have a different women's cut for the singlets. The fabric is very lightweight. Bill, to answer your question about the waffle weave...it's on the outside, the 'skin' side of the shirt has a flat weave. As Chester mentioned, the fabric does have the tendency to snag, but their website says it's pill resistant. I think it has a good brightness factor, not quite as fluorescent as our current shirts, but would still stand out well in a crowd.
Here's some indoor photos. I'm not sure how well our camera shows the true color so I put it next to our current shirt for comparison.
Other color comparison photos forthcoming!
